    摘要: A seat reclining apparatus includes a base member and a ratchet on a seat cushion and a seatback, respectively or vice versa; a lock member which engages with and disengages from a meshing portion of the ratchet; a lock driver which moves the lock member between the engaged position and the disengaged position; and a meshed-state retainer including an engaging portion provided on the base member, and an engaged portion provided on the lock member. When the lock member in the engaged position moves in a direction different from a direction in which the lock member is guided by the guide portion of the base member, the meshed-state retainer moves the lock member toward the engaged position via engagement of the engaged portion with the engaging portion to retain a meshed state between the lock member and the meshing portion of the ratchet.

A controller is in communication with the actuator for controlling the actuator and in communication with the sensor array. The controller is configured to control the actuator to move the component in response to receiving a signal indicative of a touch input of the sensor array by a user such that the movement of the component correlates with the input to the sensor array.

    摘要: A clamping roller freewheel for an adjusting device in a motor vehicle includes a cylindrical outer surface, at least one roller pair, an output shaft, a clamping element which is rotationally connected to the output shaft and which has at least one clamping slope on an opposite side of the roller pair to the cylindrical outer surface, and a spacer device which is at least partially between the rollers and has elastic properties. This spacer device includes a spacer piece and a spring. When the spacer piece is in the normal position, an oblique surface bears against a roller. The spring presses the spacer piece into the normal position in which it exerts a force on at least one roller. When passing from the normal position to the retracted position, the oblique surface is moved away from the roller.

    摘要: A hinge and bracket system for a cushion seat back is provided. A bracket is attached to the side of a cushion seat back which is laying flat. The bracket is connected to a rotatable shaft, which in turn is connected to a toothed gear and a pawl. When the cushion seat back is raised upward, the toothed gear and an element of the pawl allow the cushion seat back to ratchet upwards, with the capability to lock the cushion seat back at any tooth. When the cushion seat back is raised above about 90 degrees, the pawl is forced to disengage from the toothed gear and the cushion seat back is unlocked and can be placed back in the original flat position. This hinge and bracket system may be employed in marine operations, especially for water skiing.

An actuator is connected to the head restraint for moving the head restraint, and a controller is in communication with the actuator. A sensor array is supported by one of the support structure and the head restraint and in communication with the controller. The sensor array has a first region and a second region. The sensor array is configured to sense an input of the first region and second region being sequentially activated. The sensor array communicates the input to the controller, and the controller causing the actuator to move the head restraint.

The relative rotational position of the inner and outer tubes is configured to change via rotation of one of the inner and outer tubes. The spacer, inner tube, and outer tube are all concentrically positioned to thereby reduce friction between the inner and outer tubes during relative movement between the tubes.

    摘要: A vehicle seat has a seat adjuster. The seat adjuster includes a brake acting between a stationary part and an adjustable part. By use of the brake, the adjustable part can be blocked in a variety of positions in both adjustment directions on the stationary part and which can be applied by means of a freely switching element. An adjusting device acts on the freely switching element for selectively adjusting the adjustable part in both directions. An additional locking mechanism is provided which when the adjusting device is not in operation, automatically engages and when the adjusting device is not in operation automatically disengages.
