A non-contact temperature sensor is disposed within the plug and configured to measure a temperature of the outlet. The temperature sensor is in communication with the control system and configured to send a signal to the control system to effect a reduced flow of current through the outlet and plug when the temperature sensor indicates that a predetermined condition is met.

    摘要: A system and method is provided for evaluating performance of a supply circuit for electric vehicle charging. An electrical connection is established between a vehicle circuit and a supply circuit for an external Alternating Current (AC) power supply. The electrical connection includes a hot, neutral, and ground conductor. A control signal is transmitted to activate a switch disposed along the electrical connection for selectively initiating vehicle charging. Input signals are received including: a line current signal indicative of a current along at least one of the hot conductor and the neutral conductor, and at least one of a line voltage signal and a neutral voltage signal. The line voltage signal being indicative of a voltage potential between the hot conductor and the neutral conductor. The neutral voltage signal being indicative of a voltage potential between the neutral conductor and the ground conductor. At least one of the input signals is compared to predetermined resistance data for evaluating supply circuit performance.

    摘要: An apparatus for correcting leakage current during a vehicle charging operation is provided. The apparatus comprises a balance circuit configured to receive a sensed current indicative of a vehicle leakage current in response to an external power source providing a charging current to a vehicle. The vehicle leakage current includes a first leakage component and a second leakage component. The balance circuit is further configured to generate a first voltage value that corresponds to a negative value of the first leakage component and to provide a second voltage value that generally corresponds to a positive value of the first leakage component. The balance circuit is further configured to apply the second voltage value to the first voltage value to substantially remove the first leakage component from the vehicle leakage current.

A head restraint actuator receives the head restraint request and actuates a corresponding head restraint.

A back cover member is adaptable to the trim member for encasing the printed circuit board therebetween. A sealing member is disposed between the trim member and the back cover member. The illuminating light from the plurality of illumination elements is reflected toward the printed circuit board. The printed circuit board receives the illuminating light and diffuses the illuminating light therethrough for backlighting the plurality of graphics.

The receiver is operable to detect changes in relative distance between the conductive object and the receiver, in response to a load, as a function of the strength of the resultant magnetic field experienced by the receiver. Furthermore, the vehicle occupant sensing system may be employed in a vehicle seat assembly for detecting a condition of the same. A method of operating the vehicle occupant sensing system is also disclosed.

A moveable switch panel is deployable in a first position covering at least a portion of the first accessory control unit and is deployable in a second position covering at least a portion of the second accessory control unit. The movable switch panel includes a plurality of manually actuable switch elements adaptable in response to being deployed in the first or second position to provide a first set of switch functions while in the second position and a second set of switch functions while in the first position.
