    摘要: A wiper arrangement for a vehicle is configured for cleaning a sensor field of vision of a windshield and thereby has a wiping element and a carrier. The carrier can be fastened on the windshield. The wiping element is movably mounted on the carrier. The carrier, the wiping element and/or mounting elements acting between the carrier and the wiping element is/are configured so that the wiping element can assume at least one fixed holding position-relative to the carrier, and wherein the wiping element can be brought out of the fixed holding position at least by overcoming a defined holding force. Furthermore, the mounting of the wiping element on the carrier is selected such that the wiping element is always driven to assume at least one specific, preferably a first holding position or second specific holding position with respect to the carrier.

    摘要: A wiper system performs operation control on wiper driving electric motors and based on position information about wiper blades and attached to pivot shafts, wherein a learning mode in which a position of the wiper blades is learned to correct blade position information is executed after the wiper blades are attached to the pivot shafts, respectively. In the learning mode, the wiper blades are moved to a prescribed position such as a lower retracted position, and that the wiper blades are located in the prescribed position is detected by such means as a sensor, a video image, and contact with a jig. If the wiper blades are detected to be in the prescribed position, the blade position information is corrected to a value corresponding to the position.

    摘要: A windshield assembly includes a laminated windshield provided with a cutout and a motor mounting plate secured to the laminated windshield over the cutout. The motor mounting plate includes a mounting hole, and a wiper motor is secured to the motor mounting plate via the mounting hole. The structure distributes forces encountered by the wiper and motor over a large area on the glass. Also, due to a small footprint, the view through the windshield is less obstructed. The structure also eliminates the need for drilling/aligning holes in laminated glass.
