摘要: An energy absorption device (3) and method is disclosed for absorption of energy that is released upon impact between two objects in relative motion, wherein an exceptional load applied to any of the two objects results in acceleration of said object relative to the other object, and wherein for retardation of said acceleration energy is absorbed in the process of deformation of an element or elements which are put under stress from the objects upon impact. The process of deformation comprises a controlled diameter reduction during a forced elongation of a semi-solid or solid deformation bolt (4) made of cold-forming material in the direction of force (FX) generated in said acceleration.

摘要: An energy-absorbing device, in particular for a rail-car, extends along an axis and has an attachment member, which can be connected to a fixed structure, an impact member, designed to withstand an impact, and an energy-absorbing member, constituted by a first tube and a second tube, which are coaxial and are made of composite material in order to collapse and hence absorb energy in the event of impact; the first tube is fixed to the attachment member, whereas the second tube is fixed to the impact member and is axially slidable, during impact, guided by the first tube; the radial thickness of the two tubes decreases along the axis, towards their free ends; in a non-collapsed resting condition, the axial gaps present between the two free ends and the attachment and impact members are substantially the same so that the two tubes start to collapse simultaneously in the event of impact.

摘要: A rail vehicle has a bogie which rolls on a track in a direction of travel, a vehicle structure which is supported on the bogie, a rigid carrying structure which is arranged on the end side of the rail vehicle, and an end-side coupling opening through which a coupling extends for coupling further rail vehicles. A coupling securing device secures the coupling to the rail vehicle. The coupling securing device has reversible securing elements which permit a reversible lifting movement counter to the direction of travel to such an extent that the coupling is retracted completely into the supporting structure. As a result of the retraction of the coupling into the cage-like carrying structure it no longer influences the crash behavior.

摘要: The invention is directed to a draft and buffer apparatus for a track-guided vehicle. The apparatus includes a coupling rod and a draft yoke for connecting the coupling rod to the vehicle body. An energy-dissipating device is arranged between the vehicle and the coupling rod for receiving draft and buffer forces. The energy-dissipating device includes a reversible energy-dissipating unit and is configured so as to cause the force flow of the buffer loads transmitted thereto from the coupling rod and of the draft loads transmitted via the draft yoke thereto to be conducted through the energy-dissipating device and to be transmitted to the vehicle body. The energy-dissipating device further includes an irreversible energy-dissipating unit providing irreversible energy dissipation. The energy-dissipation device is mounted within the axial extent of the draft yoke when viewed in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle.

摘要: A system includes a bearing bracket, for connecting a coupler rod or a connection rod to a car, and a coupler rod or a connection rod connected to the bearing bracket. The bearing bracket has an adapter and a joint that allows the adapter to swivel relative to the bracket. The rod has a stabilizing element having a surface that is not parallel to the longitudinal axis of the rod and is spaced apart from a surface of the bearing bracket. Upon application of a force of a predetermined first strength in one direction, the adapter moves relative to the bracket in the one direction until the surface of the stabilizing element contacts the surface of the bearing bracket. Upon application of a force of a second strength to the rod, the stabilizing element detaches from the rod, so that the rod can move relative to the stabilizing element.

摘要: A coupling arrangement for the front of a tracked vehicle is disclosed, comprising a central buffer coupling having a gladhand, a coupling shaft supporting the gladhand and a bearing, via which the coupling shaft can be joined with the undercarriage of the vehicle pivotable in a horizontal and/or vertical direction. An energy consuming device allocated to the central buffer coupling having at least one energy consuming element with a destructive design is provided. To ensure maximum energy consumption in a crash with a course of events definable in advance, the coupling arrangement additionally comprises a supporting structure with two longitudinal beams arranged on the sides of the central buffer coupling and a crossbeam joined with the two longitudinal beams, said crossbeam beam being arranged above the central buffer coupling such that a vertical deflection of the coupling shaft relative to the undercarriage of the vehicle is limited by the crossbeam.
