摘要： An equipment box, that may be stowed in the spare-wheel well of a motor vehicle, has a main body and a cover that can be attached thereto. The main body is formed for items of equipment to be received by a housing with at least one access opening. The cover can be attached to the main body in a supporting position and in a closing position, in which the cover in each case covers different regions of the main body. The cover in these two positions lies in the same plane, turned by an angle α, and the cover in the closing position covers the entire main body, while in the supporting position it only covers a middle region of the main body and protrudes beyond the main body on opposite sides.

摘要： A tire lift assembly may include an upper plate, a rod, and a pair of handles. The rod may connect the upper plate to a trunk support surface spaced from the upper plate to receive a tire therebetween. Each of the pair of handles may be mounted for rotation to the upper plate and each may include a tab. Rotation of each of handles orients the respective tab for engagement and non-engagement with the tire. Each of the handles may be arranged with the upper plate so that the tabs define a dimension greater than a diameter of a rim through-hole of the tire when the tabs are rotated for engagement with the tire.

摘要： A spare wheel assembly comprising a tire and a rim to which the tire is attached is disclosed. The rim includes a center mounting plate having a center bore, inner and outer opposed flanges, and a disk between the center bore and the flanges. The disk includes a pair of elongated, curved slots formed on opposite sides of the center bore. Each of the slots is an ergonomically-formed hand hold for receiving fingers of an operator's hand. The inner and outer opposed flanges of the rim define perimeters of the rim between which the tire is held. The curved slots are concentric with respect to the perimeter of the outer flange and with respect to the center bore. A centerline is formed radially through the assembly. The disk is positioned on one side of the centerline and the mounting plate is positioned on the other side of the centerline.
