In an illustrative embodiment, an apparatus includes a primary latch that defines a slot configured to receive a striker extending from the hatch and is rotatable between a locked position where the slot is oriented to hold the striker to retain the hatch in a closed position and an unlocked position in which the slot is oriented to enable the striker to be withdrawn from the slot to permit opening of the hatch; and a secondary latch mechanism configured to be moved between: a first configuration configured to maintain the primary latch in the closed position; a second configuration configured to enable the striker to move within the slot to permit partial opening of the hatch; and a third configuration configured to enable the primary latch to rotate to the unlocked position.

摘要： A tailgate opening/closing device has a simplified tailgate opening/closing structure, reduced manufacturing cost, reduced weight, and improved quality. The device includes a release gear configured to be rotated forwards and backwards by a rotational force from a motor, a cinching gear engaged with the release gear, a linkage mechanism configured to receive force from the cinching gear to rotate toward a claw, the claw being caught by the linkage mechanism to rotate together therewith so as to be engaged with a striker, and a pawl unit configured to be caught by the claw in the state in which the claw is engaged with the striker so as to restrict rotation of the claw and configured to allow rotation of the claw in a release operation direction only when the release gear rotates in the release operation direction.

摘要： The present invention aims to reduce the operation noise of a latch device for a vehicle trunk lid when the lid is opened. A latch device for a vehicle trunk lid includes: latch 16 that is engaged with a striker; ratchet 18 that is engaged with latch 16; opening lever 43 that causes ratchet 18 to rotate in a direction in which ratchet 18 is disengaged from latch 16; output member 39 that rotates opening lever 43 in the release direction. Opening lever 43 is rotatable between an unblocked position where it is rotatable in the release direction and a blocked position where it is prevented from rotating in the release direction by colliding with the output member. When driven and rotated, output member 39 abuts against opening lever 43 that is in the unblocked position and rotates opening lever 43 in the release direction to the blocked position, and opening lever 43 is further rotated a predetermined angle by colliding with output member 39 in the blocked position.

A high degree of automation of an access-controlled process for loading and/or unloading a vehicle can thus be achieved substantially with the aid of the vehicle lock.
