Abstract:
The disclosure discloses an adhesive tape cartridge. The adhesive tape cartridge includes an adhesive tape roll around which an adhesive tape is wound about an axis line, a separation material roll configured to wind the separation material layer around an axis line, a connecting arm that freely rotatably supports the adhesive tape roll and freely rotatably supports the separation material roll, and a guide device configured to cause the adhesive tape to pass in a tape posture with a tape cross-section set to a substantially horizontal direction, substantially contact both tape width direction ends during the passing, and to guide the adhesive tape in the tape width direction, provided in a middle part of the connecting arm, between the adhesive tape roll and the separation material roll.
Abstract:
A label product in web form has alternating, oppositely indented creases in the liner of the product to produce a fan-folded stack having alternating, reversely folded plies. Each crease is substantially, if not entirely, perforation-free to maximize the strength of the liner at the fold lines. The product is preferably produced on a narrow web press in a creasing station that includes a stack of rolls wherein a first die roll is on the bottom of the stack, a second die roll is on the top of the stack, and a pair of base rolls are located in the middle of the stack between the die rolls. A blade on each die roll cooperates with a cushion on the corresponding base roll to produce a crease during every other rotation of the die roll, each of the base rolls having a smaller circumference than its corresponding die roll.
Abstract:
A laminating apparatus 20 for a DVR as an optical disc comprises front side peeling means 24 for peeling a protective film P1 from a protective label L having the protective film P1 and a release-liner D adhered thereto, a peel plate 25 for peeling off the release-liner D from the protective label L from which the protective film P1 has been peeled, and laminating means 29 for laminating the protective label L after the peeling of the protective film P1 and the release-liner D to a DVR recording substrate by laminating the protective label L to the DVR recording substrate B with a predetermined pressing force.
Abstract:
A labelling machine with a labelling device, which has a feeder unit for feeding a backing strip, which is provided with detachable labels, and a transfer unit for transferring the labels from the backing strip onto an object that is to be labelled. The labelling machine further has a winding device for winding a section of the backing strip from which labels have been detached, containing at least one guidance unit with a guidance element, along which the backing strip section can be guided in a direction of transport, and a winding unit, which is mounted downstream of the at least one guidance element, and includes fixing means, on which a free end section of the backing strip section can be fixed, whereby the fixing means are arranged on a winding core that can rotate about an axis of rotation, and follow a rotational movement of the winding core.

Abstract:
A label dispenser unit comprising a dispensing reel for supporting a roll of labels attached to a backing strip. The dispenser unit also includes a label releasing station for separating the label from the backing strip and a central take-up hub for receiving the backing strip thereon. The take up hub is formed of a hub portion and a plurality of radially extending spokes extending from the central hub portion. The backing strip extends from the roll of labels around the label releasing station such that an end of the backing strip is secured to the take-up hub between at least two radially extending spokes.
Abstract:
A system for disposal of a waste web including: a spindle onto which a roll of web is wound; a cutting station for cutting the web; an ejector for ejecting the roll off the spindle for disposal, to free the spindle to be re-loaded with another roll of web. The invention also relates to a method of forming, and removing, a roll of web material from a rotatable device.
Abstract:
A mounting system for supporting equipment above a surface, such as, for example, a label dispensing unit, is provided. The system includes bracket having a first segment cantilevering from a housing and a second segment extending perpendicularly from the first segment and spaced apart from the housing. The housing and first and second segments form a channel to receive a support structure therein. The support structure is sized to fit within the channel to support the equipment above a surface when the bracket is disposed over the support structure.

Abstract:
An air conveyor is positioned on a tabbing machine and includes a housing having an air chamber and a web entry and web exit and air port communicating with the air chamber. An air nozzle assembly is positioned within the air chamber and includes upper and lower nozzle plates that extend across the air chamber and spaced from each other to form a web delivery channel that is aligned with the web entry and web exit. Each of the nozzle plates includes a plurality of air nozzles extending through the nozzle plate and configured to pass pressurized air from the air chamber into the web delivery channel such that a web of material entering the web entry is drawn, for example, by venturi pressure, from the web entry through the web delivery channel and out the web exit.
