    摘要: An improved connecting mechanism for barrel is provided. The barrel comprises a tubular body which defines a chime and an inner wall. The inner wall of the tubular body is provided with a plurality of fastening device adjacent to the chime of the tubular body. And a bottom which can be fixedly attached to the chime of the tubular body is provided. The peripheral of the bottom is provided with a protecting rim. An annular flange adjacent to the protecting rim is further provided such that a receiving groove is defined between the protecting rim and the annular flange. Wherein when the chime of the tubular body is inserted and retained within the receiving groove of the bottom, a fixedly and firmly engagement and connection between the fastening device and the annular flange is attained. According to the preferable embodiment of the present invention, the annular flange of the bottom can be provided with a recessed portion and the fastening device can be a plurality of ratchet hookers or a ratchet flange such that a fixedly and firmly engagement between the ratchet hookers or flange and the recessed portion can be attained.

    摘要: A reclosable metal container in the style of a bottle-shaped can has a conventional can body of steel or aluminum to which a metal neck component is seamed. A sleeve of plastics fits over the neck component and a detent inside the sleeve clips it onto the seam. The upper edge of the sleeve is fixed in place by a curl on the upper edge of the neck component. By using a separate neck component and hiding the seam under a sleeve, conventional sizes and material gauges can be used for the can body. Thicker material may be used for the neck component in order to withstand necking forces. Threads for closing the container may be provided either on the sleeve or, in an embodiment where the sleeve is simply used to cover the seam, on a cylindrical part of the neck component itself.

    摘要: A container is disclosed, comprising a container body having an inner surface formed from a first non-plastics material, a neck forming a mouth of the container, and a lid removably attachable to the neck. A layer of a second non-plastics material is formed across a surface of the lid facing the inside of the container body when the lid is attached to the neck. The layer of the second non-plastics material extends across the mouth of the container so as to form a seal with the neck of the container when the lid is attached to the neck. The lid includes a sipper made of a third non-plastics material mounted in an opening formed in the lid. The layer of the second non-plastics material and the sipper are disposed so as to form a fluid-tight connection between them. The sipper is detachable from the lid and the sipper is held in place relative to the opening of the lid by upper and lower flanges. A method for manufacturing the container is also disclosed.
