摘要： A fitting for affixing to a mouth of a receiving container comprises a tubular body having a top end, a bottom end and a side wall extending between the top and bottom ends and having an inner surface and an outer surface. A partition is integrally formed on the inner surface between the top end and the bottom end. The partition divides the body into an open top region and an open bottom region. The inner surface of the open top region has a top threading and the inner surface of the open bottom region has a bottom threading. The partition further includes an aperture therein adapted to permit passage of a standard size, disposable straw therethrough from the open top region to the open bottom region.

In some embodiments, the adapter is designed so that a single lid with a predetermined diameter fits, by way of the adapter, with paper cups of different diameters. In some embodiments, an adapter including an inner diameter that corresponds to the upper diameter of the paper cup cooperates with the upper portion of the cup. The adapter also includes an outer diameter that corresponds to the predetermined diameter of the lid to ensure a secure fit between that particular sized cup and the plastic lid having a predetermined diameter.

摘要： A universal bottle cap capable of threadably engaging two or more bottles of a different thread arrangement having a substance retained therein. The universal bottle cap threadedly engages a bottle containing a beverage therein. Such universal bottle cap includes a cylindrical member closed at a first end thereof and open at a second end thereof. There is a threaded portion disposed on an inner surface of the cylindrical member for engaging a threaded end of such bottle. A capsule like device is disposed inside the cylindrical member adjacent the closed end for retaining a substance to be dispensed into a beverage in such bottle. A device for piercing the capsule engages each of the threaded portion of the bottle cap and the capsule for piercing the capsule as the universal bottle cap is threaded onto such bottle thereby releasing contents of the capsule into such beverage for mixing therewith.

摘要： The invention is directed to a cap for a beverage can. The cap is of a size to contain ice therein. The cap is in the shape of a cylindrical container as a compartment or a reservoir. A bottom of the compartment has several circular recesses or grooves therein which have different diameters from each other so that different grooves will snap-fit onto differently sized rims on top of beverage cans. Each of the grooves is sealed to prevent leakage between the rim of a can and the groove of the compartment. A different embodiment of a cap may have a bottom wall just above the grooves with an aperture therein so that narrow ice sticks may be placed directly in the can through the ice compartment. This cap may also be constructed of one or more parts. There is a lower part having the grooves therein and there is an upper lid or cover having a resealable drinking spout thereon.
