    摘要: A multi-surface cable tie device includes a head member having an outer end and an opposed inner end, the head member defining an aperture having rectangular configuration and a channel defining a generally V-shaped configuration in communication with the aperture. The cable tie device includes an elongate tying strap that includes a base strip having a planar configuration that includes a proximal end adjacent the inner end of the head member and a distal end opposite the proximal end, the base strip having an elongate toothed portion mounted to an inside surface of the base strip. The toothed portion includes a generally triangular cross-section and having a plurality of teeth extending away from the base strip. The aperture is configured to selectively receive the base strip and the channel is configured to receive the toothed portion of the tying strap.

    摘要: A clamping device (1) is adapted to receive and retain a portion (21) of a strip (20), and to actively tighten itself around the strip portion (21) under the influence of a pulling force. This is functioning in such a way that the higher the pulling force, the higher the force with which pushing parts (31) of the clamping device (1) are pushed. This results in a firm clamping connection. On the basis of this functioning, the clamping device (1) can be embodied in a form which has an open side, while maintaining a high capacity of withstanding loads. This results in the advantageous property that the strip (20) can be placed in and removed from the clamping device (1) in a sideward direction. This allows for detachment and reuse, and increases speed and convenience of use. The strip (20) does not need to be inserted in a closed shape. Various other applications than in a tie wrap (10) are possible for the clamping device (1), including applications in tension belts.

Within each channel is a pawl or other device that allows for one-way motion and locking of a strap passing through the channel. The channels may be parallel or anti-parallel in relation to one another regarding the direction through which a tie strap may move. The locking head may also be rotatable about its center in order to change the orientation of the two channels relative to one another. The multipurpose cable tie lock may include three or more channels optionally. Multipurpose cable tied locks may be used in combination with one or more tie straps to provide systems for holding multiple objects.
