    摘要: The invention disclosed herein is a system for dispensing storage or fogging oil into the cylinders of internal combustion engines prior to putting the engines up for storage, during storage, or when removing the engine from storage. The system includes a dispensing adapter for closing off the spark plug hole of an engine cylinder, the dispensing adapter including threads of different sizes and diameters to accommodate common spark plug thread sizes. The dispensing adapter may also be used to temporarily plug a spark plug hole when a spark plug is removed from an engine.

    摘要: The present invention provides an aerosol device for delivering a pharmaceutical formulation by inhalation via the mouth to the lungs or to the nostril in metered doses comprising: a pressurised aerosol canister including a vial containing a pharmaceutical formulation comprising an active ingredient, a propellant and, optionally, a co-solvent, the aerosol canister further comprising a metering valve having a valve stem; and an actuator for the aerosol canister, the actuator including a delivery outlet and a stem block, the stem block having a receptacle into which the valve stem of the metering valve of the aerosol canister is received and axially located and being displaceable relative to the vial of the aerosol canister to actuate the metering valve of the aerosol canister, a sump extending below the receptacle, the stem block further defining a discharge orifice arranged to direct the pharmaceutical formulation through the delivery outlet, a transfer tunnel having an input opening and an output opening through which a dispensed dose of the pharmaceutical formulation is able to pass from the sump to the discharge orifice, and a land length defining the distance from between the input opening and output opening, wherein the input opening and the output opening have cross-sectional areas of from 0.002 to 0.8 mm2 and the cross-sectional area of the input opening is smaller than the cross-sectional area of the output opening, and wherein the land length is from 0.5 mm to 10 mm.

    摘要: The invention relates to a spray head (1) for a spray can with the spray head to be placed on a valve having an inner valve seat, wherein said spray head (1) being provided with a tubular hollow cylinder (2) extending coaxially to the longitudinal axis of the spray can, said cylinder being coupleable to the valve and designed to include a passage (3) for the spraying product contained in the spray can, said passage (3) ending in an outlet nozzle (4) pointing in radial direction and said hollow cylinder (2) having an opening (5) on one of its longitudinal sides at its valve-side end so that actuating the spray head (1) allows the product to be sprayed to enter the hollow cylinder (2) through said opening (5), and wherein a rotatable regulating pin (6) extends through the passage (3) in the hollow cylinder (2), the outer diameter of said regulating pin (6) corresponding at its valve-side end to the inside diameter of the passage (3) arranged in the hollow cylinder (2) and said regulating pin (6) having at its valve-side end on one of its longitudinal sides a cutout (7) that, when said cutout (7) coincides with the opening (5) in the hollow cylinder (2), enables sprayed product to enter the passage (3), with the regulating pin (6) at its end facing away from the valve being connected to a rotatable regulator (8) accessible from the outside. In this manner a spray head (1) is provided that enables the discharge rate to be varied and effectively avoids an uncontrolled discharge of sprayed product from spray head (1). The invention is of special significance in the field of paint spray cans.
