    摘要: A method and device are provided for producing a double roll fabric construction useful as a receptacle for, e.g., eyeglasses. The construction is comprised of adjacent rolled up portions disposed in side by side relation so as to be unrollable to form a receiving space therebetween. The rolling device includes a pair of spindles disposed in parallel relation and adapted to respectively receive opposite ends of a stretchable fabric so that rotation of the spindles causes rolling up of the fabric around the spindles. Respective pinion gears are mounted on the spindles and are disposed in engagement with, and ride along, a rack member. A drive unit produces movement of the pinion gears toward each other along the rack member so as to produce rotation of the second spindles and resultant wrapping of the fabric around the respective spindles to produce respective fabric rolls of the double roll fabric construction. After the construction is removed from the spindles, the ends are sewn to produce the receptacle.

    摘要: One or a plurality of coreless rolls of a stretchable plastic film are wound up on a mandrel (10) having a tubular body; the mandrel (10) comprises at least a fore air chamber (14) and a rear air chamber (15) axially aligned, wherein the peripheral wall (11) of the mandrel (10) comprises a perforated zone (16, 17) in correspondence of each air chamber (14, 15). One or a plurality of coreless rolls (B1, B2) of stretchable plastic film are wound up on the mandrel (10) at said perforated zones (16, 17) and air chambers (14, 15); the roll or rolls (B1, B2) are removed by pushing said roll or rolls along the mandrel (10), by supplying pressurised air initially into all air chambers (14, 15) during a first removal step of the roll or the rolls (B1, B2) and selectively disconnecting each chamber (14, 15) from the pressurized air source, starting from the rear air chamber (15) to the fore air chamber (14) at overcoming of each air chamber (14, 15) by said roll or rolls (B1, B2).

    摘要: In an apparatus for rolling up web material which comprises a disk or turret rotatably mounted on a stationary frame and a plurality of mandrels rotatably mounted to the disk, each mandrel being indexable to each of a take-up position, a waiting position and a removal position through selective rotation of the disk, the improvement which comprises a source of compressed air connected to the frame adjacent the removal position, a separate vacuum tube apparatus connected to the frame adjacent the waiting position and being axially movable toward and away from the waiting mandrel, a vacuum pump connected to the vacuum tube apparatus for creating a vacuum in the vacuum tube apparatus, the mandrels each comprising a longitudinal bore extending from an open end thereof and a plurality of radial nozzles communicating with the longitudinal bore, wherein the vacuum tube apparatus is selectively movable into contact with the open end of the waiting mandrel so that the vacuum is communicated through the nozzles to thereby draw the web material around the waiting mandrel, and wherein the source of compressed air is communicated with the mandrel in the removal position so that compressed air is communicated through the nozzles to thereby assist in removing the completed roll of web material from that mandrel.

    摘要: A reception sleeve that may be mounted on a mandrel of a packaging machine for winding up a film used in the packaging process on the reception sleeve. The reception sleeve may include a plurality of hinges. Each hinge may have a hinge axis, wherein each hinge axis may be oriented in a direction parallel to a central axis of the reception sleeve. The reception sleeve may be mounted on a reception mandrel of the packaging machine, preferably for winding a residual film grid remaining after sealing trays in the packaging machine. The mandrel may include a mechanism for selectively tensioning the reception sleeve thereon to tension the reception sleeve to allow the mandrel to transfer a winding torque to the reception sleeve, and to reduce the tension so the reception sleeve can easily be removed from the mandrel.
