摘要： A stapler apparatus may be provided. More specifically, a stapler apparatus capable of automatically stapling a bundle of sheets output from an image forming apparatus such as a copy machine, a printer, a facsimile or the like may be provided. The stapler includes: a guide plate in which a slot having a branch structure has been formed; a moving frame which is reciprocatively movable on the guide plate; a rotation frame which is rotatable on the moving frame and includes a plurality of levers mounted thereon, the plurality of levers moving along the inside and outside of the slot or change paths; a path change member which changes a movement path of any one of the plurality of levers; and a stapler which is mounted on the rotation frame and is in conjunction with the rotation frame.

摘要： A sheet processing apparatus includes a sheet processing unit that processes a sheet placed on a placing tray, a discharge roller that discharges the sheet processed on the placing tray to a stacking tray, a conveyance roller that discharges a sheet to the placing tray or conveys a subsequent sheet from upstream to downstream of the discharge roller and switchback-conveys the subsequent sheet upstream again, and a standby path (branch path) that keeps the sheet switched back by the conveyance roller on standby. The subsequent sheet is conveyed to a downstream side of the discharge roller by the conveyance roller and then returned to an upstream side again by switchback conveyance. During the switchback conveyance, the discharge roller nips and discharges the sheets on the placing tray to the stacking tray.

摘要： A media stapling system for an image forming device. The media stapling system comprises a stapler mounted on a motor-driven carriage assembly moveably coupled to a track having portions extending along at least two contiguous edges and included corner of a media stack to be stapled. The carriage assembly and track enables stapling in multiple positions along the long and/or short edges and corners of media of varying sizes positioned in a media support. The track is mounted on a planar frame positioned at an angle from horizontal, providing a relatively small footprint. A controller is in operable communication with the media stapling system and an user interface. The user interface provides a plurality of predetermined stapling patterns for selection with the controller controlling the media stapling system to staple the media stack using a selected one of the plurality of stapling patterns.

摘要： A post-processing apparatus which can respectively balance the convenience of the user using a manual staple and convenience of the user using an online staple is provided. A finisher includes a stapler for performing predetermined post-processing on a sheet received and a control unit. The control unit switches between a first control mode which is allowed to perform predetermined post-processing on the sheet received from an image forming apparatus and a second control mode which is allowed to perform predetermined post-processing on the sheet received not via the image forming apparatus. In addition, the control unit controls the switching such that the second control mode is switched to the first control mode after a lapse of a first predetermined period.
