摘要： Flattening and take-off apparatus for use with a device for providing a blown tubular film. The apparatus includes a flattening device for flattening the tubular film, and a cutting device for cutting one lateral edge of the flattened film. A pair of pinch rollers is provided and is driven to carry the cut and flattened film to an unfolding device, which is defined by a pair of edges that are inclined relative to the direction of movement of the film web, and over which respective ones of the juxtaposed portions of the cut flattened web are adapted to pass to define a single ply web. The pinch rolls include removable spacing rings to prevent the formation of a fold line on the opposite lateral edge from the cut edge of the flattened film. The unfolding device is movable laterally and parallel to the direction of movement of the film.

摘要： A device for dispensing folded sheets of material, such as a paper napkin, provides a selected time interval between successive dispensing operations in order to limit the overall rate at which the product is dispensed. The device uses a reciprocatable vacuum head for picking a napkin from a supply stack controlled to have an uppermost article at a selected height, and for then delivering the napkin to a delivery chute. The dimensions of the device can be matched the size of the napkin so that the vacuum head travels high that even if the napkin partially unfolds, it does not contact any portion of the device that could soil it or that it could jam. The vacuum head may be driven by a swing-arm linkage coupled to a crank turned by an electric gearmotor once per delivery cycle.

摘要： Threading mechanism for a treatment plant which includes a band of flexible material folded upon itself to grip the leading end of the web material, the fold being closed on the web material adjacent the entrance end of the plant and separated from the web material at the discharge end of the plant. The mechanism includes a guiding surface or roller positioned adjacent the discharge end having a profile to open the folded band more than 180*, along with a drive roller for pulling the band around the profiled surface. The mechanism also includes jet elements for positively engaging the web material being treated into the fold of the band prior to its re-entry into the chamber. In one embodiment of the invention the profiled surface and the guide roller are mounted a substantial distance below the exit and entrance rollers for the folded band.

摘要： Disclosed herein are protective packaging stock material units that are used in a dunnage system. A dunnage system includes a dunnage conversion machine and a supply station. The supply station is a cart that includes a biased support that is connected to a vertical side support. The biased support is movable from an open position to a closed position with respect to opposing vertical side supports. In the closed position, the biased support is configured to at least partially block the opening between the opposing vertical side supports. In the open position, the biased support leaves the opening between the opposing vertical side supports sufficiently open to load fanfold stock material therein. The biased support is biased towards the closed position and the open position. The supply station also includes an alignment device forming a funnel positioned under its base. The alignment device receives a dunnage machine stand base causing the supply cart to consistently align with the stand base in response to the stand base being slid into engagement with the alignment device.

摘要： A method and apparatus for inverting and flattening an air bag including an inverter for inverting the air bag and an actuator for actuating the air bag to cause it to flatten. The inverter includes a plunger moveable in a vertical direction through an aperture in a conveyor table to cause a face panel of the air bag to pass through an aperture formed in a main panel of the air bag. The actuator includes a spin disk for causing an inertial force to be applied to the air bag whereby outer portions of the air bag are caused to move radially outwardly relative to a central gripped portion. After the air bag is flattened, it is dropped down onto belts running along the conveyor table and the belts are actuated to convey the bag out of the apparatus. In addition, a load table is provided for automatically moving air bags into alignment with the inverter in preparation for an inversion and flattening cycle.

A device for storing and discharging paper/paper-like sheets is provided with first and second reels for winding first and second tapes onto, a drum for winding the first and second tapes onto with a banknote sandwiched between respective conveying surfaces of the first and second tapes, and first and second deflecting rollers disposed facing a banknote inlet-outlet and respectively deflecting the first and second tapes toward the drum. The device takes up, or unwinds, the first and second tapes entrained between the drum and the first and second reels via the first and second deflecting rollers so as to store or discharge the banknote. The device is also provided with a guide having a projection projecting toward the drum. The guide is mounted at the first deflecting roller side between the first deflecting roller and the drum, so as to be located on the rear surface side of the first tape running from the first deflecting roller to the drum.
