    摘要： A piston pump with an improved arrangement by which a piston-forming element is movable relative to a piston chamber-forming element between locked and unlocked positions. The piston chamber-forming body has a collar member having an inner guide tube coaxially about an axis with a lug member extending radially inwardly therefrom and the piston-forming element has a slide tube coaxially radially inwardly of the collar member with the slide tube carrying motion control features for interaction and engagement with the lug member whereby relative axial and rotational movement of the piston-forming element relative to the piston chamber-forming body provides for the adoption of positions in which the pump is operable to dispense fluid and positions in which the pump is inoperative.

    摘要： Exemplary embodiments of dispensers are disclosed herein. One exemplary dispenser is a soap or sanitizer dispenser. The dispenser includes a housing. A removable and replaceable concentrate container for holding concentrated soap or sanitizer is located within the housing. A concentrate pump is in fluid communication with the concentrate container. A diluent container for holding a liquid is also located within the housing and a diluent pump for pumping the diluent is also included. The dispenser includes a mixing chamber in fluid communication with the concentrate pump and the diluent pump. The dispenser includes an outlet. When concentrated soap or sanitizer is pumped from the concentrate container, it mixes with diluent pumped from the diluent container to form a diluted mixture. The diluted mixture is dispensed at the outlet of the dispenser.

    摘要： Exemplary embodiments of dispensers are disclosed herein. One exemplary dispenser is a soap or sanitizer dispenser. The dispenser includes a housing. A removable and replaceable concentrate container for holding concentrated soap or sanitizer is located within the housing. A concentrate pump is in fluid communication with the concentrate container. A diluent container for holding a liquid is also located within the housing and a diluent pump for pumping the diluent is also included. The dispenser includes a mixing chamber in fluid communication with the concentrate pump and the diluent pump. The dispenser includes an outlet. When concentrated soap or sanitizer is pumped from the concentrate container, it mixes with diluent pumped from the diluent container to form a diluted mixture. The diluted mixture is dispensed at the outlet of the dispenser.

    摘要： A dispenser for lotions, creams and the like has an annular collar in the form of a rotatable cam ring which may be turned to rock an actuator toward a dispensing, open position or toward a closed, non-dispending position. The cam ring has cam tracks that support the actuator when in its open, dispensing position so that finger pressure exerted on the actuator to pump products from the dispenser does not inadvertently rock the actuator toward its closed position. In preferred forms of the invention, a wall section formed as part of a shroud surrounding the actuator is yieldably biased in an inwardly direction, and snaps over the outlet of the actuator to close the outlet channel once the actuator has been pivoted toward its closed, non-dispensing position.

    摘要： A head depression type dispenser comprises a cylinder formed of an elastic material such as rubber. The cylinder is arranged between a head and a cap, and is constructed to operate as a piston for sucking and pressurizing liquid by axial deformation of the cylinder upon movement of the head. When the depressing force applied to its head is removed after the cylinder is deformed, the cylinder will return to the original shape by its own elasticity. In addition, a sealing piece extends from the cylinder into the passage of the head, thereby closely contacting the inner wall of the passage to form a secondary valve. The sealing piece becomes isolated from the inner wall of the passage when the hydraulic pressure in the cylinder exceeds the elasticity of the sealing piece, allowing the flow of the compressed liquid through the passage, and closely contacts the inner wall of the passage by the elasticity of the sealing piece when the hydraulic pressure becomes lower than the elasticity of the sealing piece. Since the cylinder can deform in its axial direction, it can be sufficiently deformed, thereby sufficiently pressurizing the liquid to a high pressure.

    摘要： When the reciprocable plunger of the pump is locked down in its fully depressed position, the lowermost tip of the plunger maintains the inlet ball check valve of the pump forcefully pressed against its seat to prevent leakage. Spindly legs on the hollow plunger adjacent the tip thereof define inlet orifices for the discharge passage of the plunger during operation and provide a spring-like action for generating the ball hold down force. As the tip engages the ball valve and the plunger is rotated slightly during the lock down, the lowermost cylindrical portion of the plunger is centered on the ball and held against rotation by the resilient legs and a trio of guiding projections arranged in the lower end of the pump chamber about the cylindrical portion. Consequently, the legs have a tendency to wind up torsionally as well as bow resiliently outwardly to thereby compound the resistance of the plunger to unseating movement by the ball.
