摘要: A method for preparing a legume starch with a high slowly digestible fraction content (SDS), a hydrothermal treatment method wherein it comprises the following steps: 1) preparing a starch milk with a dry matter content of between 30 and 40% by weight; 2) heating the starch milk prepared in this way to a temperature of between 50 and 60° C., preferably 55° C., in a continuous reactor so that the residence time of the starch milk is less than 5 minutes, preferably less than 2 minutes; and 3) recovering, filtering and drying the starch milk treated in this way.

摘要: A method for producing a cold-water-soluble starch. The method includes: 1) adding a starch and 3-45 wt. % of an ethanol aqueous solution to a container, and stirring a mixture of the starch and the ethanol aqueous solution in the container, thus yielding a starch-ethanol-water; 2) introducing the starch-ethanol-water to an extruder and producing a noodle extrudate, where the extruder comprises 3 continuous temperature control areas: a first area having a temperature of 50° C., a second area having a temperature of between 95 and 120° C., and a third area having a temperature of 60° C.; a rotation speed of the extruder is 70-150 rpm; and the noodle extrudate has a diameter of 0.2-0.5 cm; 3) pressing and roll slitting the noodle extrudate, thus yielding a plurality of slices; and 4) drying the plurality of slices in a microwave vacuum oven, cooling, and pulverizing the plurality of slices.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to starch materials useful, for example, as texturants in foodstuffs. In particular, the present disclosure relates to delayed-gelling, inhibited starches and methods of using them, in one aspect, the disclosure provides a delayed-gelling, inhibited starch having an amylose content in the range of 15-30%; a sedimentation volume in the range of 10-50 mL/g; and a % solubles in the range of 10-40%, wherein the starch is not pregelatinized. In certain embodiments, products including the cooked starches of the disclosure can have a much longer processing window (e.g., for pumping, dispensing, packaging) at room temperature than conventional starches, especially conventional tapioca starches. The starches of the disclosure can also have a desirable shear stability, e.g., similar to the shear stability of conventional crosslinked tapioca starches.

摘要: A method of producing corn starch by enzymatic process involving: soaking the corn; crushing the corn, separating and washing embryo; fine grinding; washing and drying fiber; separating and drying protein; washing, dewatering and drying the starch. An enzyme preparation is added before the step of washing, dewatering and drying the starch; the enzyme preparation is cellulose, or xylanase, or combination of the cellulose and the xylanase; and addition of the enzyme preparation is from 0.001% to 0.08% by weight of the corn. Based on the technology of traditional wet process, the method of the present invention comprises a step of adding enzyme preparation in the process of separating the corn, which improves the effect and the efficiency of mechanical separation, and further improves the purity and yield of the substance separated while also reducing the energy consumption.

摘要: In one or more embodiments, the present disclosure provides for a process for preparing a dispersion of starch particles in an aqueous liquid. In one or more embodiments, the process includes introducing a feed starch and the aqueous liquid into a rotor stator mixer, maintaining the feed starch and the aqueous liquid in the rotor stator mixer at a temperature ranging from a gelation temperature to less than a solubilization temperature, and shearing the feed starch into starch particles with the rotor stator mixer to form the dispersion of starch particles in the aqueous liquid. In one or more embodiments, the starch particles produced by this process have an average particle size diameter of no larger than 2 micrometers and the dispersion has 20 to 65 weight percent of the starch particles based on a total weight of the dispersion.

摘要: System for and method of producing a pure starch slurry and alcohol by using combined corn wet and dry milling processes. A simple and lower cost process to obtain starch inside floury endosperm is provided. The starch can be highly purified to meet green technology process needs. The remaining starch inside the corn kernels can be used as feedstock for alcohol production and to produce valuable co-products such as oil and various animal feeds.
