    摘要： The present invention provides a novel high-molecular substance having a unique function and a process for producing the same. That is, it is a poly(meth)acrylamide which has a syndiotacticity of 50% or lower and is highly isotactic or heterotactic. The poly(meth)acrylamide is obtained by radical-polymerizing an acrylamide or methacrylamide in the presence of a Lewis acid catalyst.

    摘要： Controlled architecture polymers made preferably with acrylamide type monomers are prepared in living-type or semi-living-type free radical polymerizations, with the architecture preferably being other than linear, such as star, branched, grafted or hyper-branched. The controlled architecture polymers have high weight average molecular weights and low viscosities, which make they particularly useful in replaceable capillary electrophoresis separation media for biological molecules, such as DNA fragments.

    摘要： An acrylamide derivative of the following general formula (I) is used to prepare a polymer or copolymer: wherein R1 represents a hydrogen atom, a straight-chain or branched alkyl group containing 1 to 4 carbon atoms or a C3-6 cycloalkyl group, R2 and R3 each independently represent an alkylene group containing 1 to 6 carbon atoms or R2 and R3 may be combined to form a ring, X represents a hydrogen atom, an amino group, a hydroxyl group, a halogen atom, a carboxyl group or a —COOR4 group wherein R4 represents a C1-6 straight-chain or branched alkyl, C3-6 cycloalkyl, phenyl, substituted phenyl, benzyl or substituted benzyl group, and Y represents an amino group, a halogen atom, a carboxyl group or a —COOR4 group wherein R4 represents a C1-6 straight-chain or branched alkyl, C3-6 cycloalkyl, phenyl, substituted phenyl, benzyl or substituted benzyl group. The thus obtained polymer or copolymer is a polymer or hydrogel incorporating many functional groups while maintaining the sensitive temperature response.

    摘要： Methods of preparing a homogeneous solution of a partially-neutralized acrylic polymer in a solvent system comprising greater than 50 weight percent water and 0 to less than 50 weight percent of an organic solvent are disclosed, wherein the homogeneous solution of the partially-neutralized acrylic polymer has pH and viscosity which are effective for use in acrylic hair fixative compositions. Also disclosed are methods of preparing an acrylic hair fixative composition, which methods include preparing the homogeneous solution of the partially-neutralized acrylic polymer as above. Also disclosed are acrylic hair fixative compositions which contain the partially-neutralized acrylic polymer, water and, optionally, one or more of an organic solvent, a propellant and an emulsifier.
