    摘要: In the dehydration step, a mixture comprising an organic amide solvent and a sulfur source is heated, vapor volatilized is guided to a distillation column, a fraction comprising the organic amide solvent as a principal component is refluxed into a reaction vessel, a fraction comprising water and hydrogen sulfide is cooled to discharge hydrogen sulfide that is not condensed by the cooling and reflux a part of water condensed into the distillation column, the remaining water is discharged, a relational expression between the total amount of water of an amount of water refluxed and an amount of water discharged without being refluxed, and an amount of hydrogen sulfide discharged from the reaction vessel is determined in advance, and an amount of hydrogen sulfide discharged from the reaction vessel is calculated out from a measured value of the total amount of water on the basis of the relational expression to control a charged molar ratio of the sulfur source to a dihalo-aromatic compound.

    摘要: A process for preparing a poly(arylene sulfide) and copolymer thereof from a poly(arylene sulfide disulfide) is provided which comprises contacting the poly(arylene sulfide disulfide) with a polyhalo-substituted cyclic compound having unsaturation between adjacent ring carbon atoms and having halogen atoms attached to the ring carbon atoms in a polar organic compound and a basic compound at an elevated temperature. Alternatively, the poly(arylene sulfide disulfide) can be substantially dissolved in the polar organic solvent at elevated temperature to form fragments which can be contacted with the polyhalo-substituted cyclic compound in a polar organic compound and a basic compound at an elevated temperature. The fragments also can be isolated, recovered and then contacted with the polyhalo-substituted cyclic compound in a polar organic compound and a basic compound at an elevated temperature.

    摘要: A method for producing a polymer in which lithium hydroxide, optionally also employing either lithium chloride or lithium acetate, is contacted with N-methyl-pyrrolidone in the presence of lithium halide to produce a reaction product mixture containing lithium N-methyl-4-aminobutyrate with this reaction mixture then being contacted with hydrogen sulfide and polyhalo aromatic compound in the presence of additional N-methyl-pyrrolidone under conditions to form a polymer. Lithium halide produced as a by-product is substantially recovered from the reaction mixture, converted to lithium hydroxide and can be recycled to the process.

    摘要: The invention provides a production process of a poly(arylene sulfide), comprising a polymerization step of subjecting at least one sulfur source selected from the group consisting of alkali metal sulfides and alkali metal hydrosulfides and a dihalo-aromatic compound to a polymerization reaction in an organic amide solvent; a reaction step of adding a hydroxyl group-containing organic compound containing no bonded halogen atom in a proportion of 0.001 to 20 mol per 100 mol of the charged sulfur source into the polymerization reaction system containing the organic amide solvent and a formed polymer after the polymerization step to cause the formed polymer to react with the hydroxyl group-containing organic compound; and a collecting step of collecting a polymer from the polymerization reaction system after the reaction step, and the poly(arylene sulfide).
