Abstract:
An animal waste scooper has a flexible extension adapted to be reversibly coiled such that when it is uncoiled, a trigger operated jaws/scooping portion of the device is employed to pick up waste. The flexible scooper device includes a handle with a trigger, a flexible, preferably corrugated extension assembly and a pair of jaws. Other embodiments are directed to a reversibly flexible, bendable hand operated device for grasping a golf ball from the ground from a standing position.
Abstract:
A pet leash and waste pick-up device comprises a retractable waste pick-up tool which is conveniently disposed in a sheath housing compartment on the leash device. When it is necessary to pick up and dispose of pet waste, the tool is removed from the sheath housing, expanded to a usable orientation, and fitted with a plastic waste bag. The device is then maneuvered so that the center of the bag is positioned over the waste to be removed. At this point, the tool is retracted, thereby closing the bag over the waste. The bag can then be simply removed from the tool, sealed appropriately, and stored for disposal, without risk of the user directly contacting the waste.
Abstract:
An animal waste collection and disposal system having a portable carrying housing with a plurality of separately sealable compartments, an integral ergonomic handle and integral apparatus to mount a leash. The collection and disposal system includes an animal waste collection tongs device having an integral protective shield, and also includes a waste disposal device having a biodegradable bag and a catalyst pouch integral to the bag.
Abstract:
A portable container for faeces having a body provided with a first chamber and a second chamber. The first chamber is provided with a first closure which in a first position allows access to the first chamber and in a second position seals the first chamber. The second chamber is provided with an opening which allows access to the second chamber.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a dog excrement collector that comprises a hollow handle (9) which contains a bag (12) that is fixed with a clip (11) to the shaft (1) which is solidly connected to the frame (16) by clip (25). A rod (2) that moves inside the shaft (1) by means of a pull element (3) which slides in a slot (5) and which is screwed to the rod (2) at point A. The mentioned rod (2) is linked to another rod (17) by a clip (24) and is used to move the second rod (17) forwards and backwards along the arms (18 and 20) of the frame (16) as far as a side element (19). The space inside the rectangle formed by the sides (17, 18, 19, 20) contains the bag (26) which is fitted to small T-shaped hooks with round heads (22), for opening and closing (27).
Abstract:
A pet waste cleanup kit for the collection and transport of animal fecal matter, comprises a pouch having at least a first compartment and a second compartment. A container is provided and is sized and shaped to fit within at least one of the compartments. The container has a first opening. A plurality of disposal bags are provided and are capable of being stored within the container. The disposal bags are adapted to be dispensed one at a time from the container through the first opening. A plurality of towelettes are provided and are capable of being stored within the container. The towelettes are adapted to be dispensed one at a time from the container through the first opening. The first opening is sized and shaped to receive both a disposal bag and a towelette and to allow the disposal bag and towelette to be dispensed concurrently.
Abstract:
A poly back pack is disclosed comprising a plurality of folded poly bags wrapped in a thin film cover, the cover having an opening for allowing the folded poly bags to be sequentially pulled out therethrough, the folded poly bags being joined to each other and having perforated lines between poly bags for allowing said poly bags to be easily seperated from each other, the poly bags partially unfolding along the length thereof as they are being pulled out of the cover. Further disclosed is a poly bag pack which comprises a plurality of folded poly bags wrapped in a thin film cover, the cover having an opening for allowing the folded poly bags to be sequentially pulled out therethrough, the folded bags being stacked on top of each other, each folded bag having a portion thereof tucked into an adjacent folded bag, so that when one bag is pulled out of the pack, the adjacent bag to the bag being pulled is also partially pulled out of the pack. Further disclosed is a poly bag pack storage dispensing device for storing the pack of poly bags in one compartment thereof and for sequentially dispensing the poly bags through another compartment thereof. In one embodiment, the storage dispensing device in integrally formed with a dog leash storage-dispensing apparatus. Further disclosed is a pooper scooper for picking up dog excrement.
Abstract:
A combination pet leash and sanitary solid pet waste pickup device has a body with an upper housing having a carrying handle, a lever rotatably held in a guide and a retractable leash mechanism mounted therein. The pet leash extends outwardly through an opening in the upper housing. A pickup mechanism containing a flexible containing element is held by mechanical elements secured in an open lower housing. An open plastic bag is inserted and held within the flexible containing element and a pair of flexible lines is connected between the lever and the pickup mechanism so that moving the lever to a closed position closes the flexible containing element and the plastic bag to pick up solid pet waste. In the closed position a user may carry the device and dispose of the plastic bag and solid pet waste, when desired, by moving the lever to the open position.
Abstract:
A vacuum device for collecting pet waste includes a housing coupled to a vacuum source. The housing is a clam-shell configuration and is configured to receive a disposable liner bag. When closed, the housing holds the liner bag securely therein. A method of using the device provides for placing the liner bag within the housing, feeding a portion of the liner through an inlet tube to the housing, such that the inlet of the housing is insulated from contact with the waste being picked up.
