    摘要: A method for improving ground is capable of preventing a clod whose representative size is large from remaining in the ground. The method for improving ground includes cutting a ground by injecting a cutting fluid (e.g. high-pressure water or high-pressure air: including a case where a solidification material is injected) from jet devices, feeding a solidification material, mixing the cut ground, the cutting fluid and the solidification material, and agitating a mixture thereof to form an underground consolidated body. A plurality of nozzles are located at an interval in a vertical direction in the jet devices, and when the cutting fluid is injected, a cutting fluid is injected from an upward nozzle in a downward skewed direction, and a cutting fluid is injected from a downward nozzle in an upward skewed direction.

    摘要: A slotted mandrel is used in displacement pier construction. Longitudinal slots are formed in the sides of the hollow mandrel which allow for the introduction of aggregate efficiently into the mandrel from a hopper through which the mandrel passes while being driven into the ground. Water may also be employed with the aggregate. Once in the ground the mandrel is raised to release the aggregate (and water if present) into the formed hole in lifts and a mandrel head then compacts the aggregate in the hole. This apparatus and method obviates the need for complicated and expensive hoppers that are raised with the mandrel or the use of expensive aggregate delivery systems.

    摘要: The invention describes a tubing device of the type operatively connectable to an excavation machine and configured to perform an excavation in the ground contained, at least partially, inside at least one tube segment. The tubing device comprises a base frame, at least one guiding tower for the tube segment, operatively connected to the base frame, and a tube operating unit, operatively connected to the guiding tower. The tube operating unit is slidable along the guiding tower and is provided with engaging means capable of both selectively holding the tube segment, and of transmitting a rotary motion and an axial sliding movement to such a tube segment so as to allow the progressive driving in the ground and subsequent extraction from the ground. The axial sliding movement is guided by the guiding tower and the width of such axial sliding movement is determined by the stroke of the tube operating unit on such a guiding tower and is proportional to at least once the diameter of the tube segment.

The collecting tubes collect a part of the earth, thereby enabling its removal, the amount of removed earth being adjusted by pressure air acting on top of the earth cores in the collecting tubes.
