摘要: The present disclosure relates generally to acoustic panels, for example, suitable for use in a ceiling to control sound. The present disclosure relates more particularly to an acoustic ceiling panel including an acoustic substrate formed of a porous material having an air flow resistivity of at least 300 kPa*s/m2. The acoustic substrate includes an upper face and a lower face with a pattern of perforations formed therein, where the pattern of perforations covers at least 6% of the area of the lower face. The acoustic ceiling panel also includes a backing layer disposed over the upper face of the acoustic substrate and a veil disposed over the lower face.

摘要: A soundproofing structure comprises a jacket having an external surface and an opposite internal surface defining an inner compartment. A resilient and deformable soundproofing material is contained within the Inner compartment and engages the internal surface. Constricting elements are mounted to the jacket for constriction of the jacket to provide inner surface pressure against the soundproofing material for compression thereof. The constricting elements are releasable for selectively releasing inner surface pressure against the soundproofing material for expansion thereof against the inner surface. The soundproofing structure defines a size that is selectively modifiable by selective releasing of the contacting elements.

摘要: An apparatus, method and system of insulating a building such as a poultry barn uses netting structurally of the type to hold sod together. The netting is stapled to the bottom of trusses making up the ceiling of a barn and the attic of the barn. Ceiling material is superimposed below the netting to form a ceiling. Loose insulation, typically fiberglass, is blown onto the netting to be held thereby and to form an insulation layer in the attic of the barn.

摘要: The present disclosure provides a clip for securing a support channel in an acoustical ceiling mount and a building construction having a wall, flooring, or ceiling assembly that displays improved acoustic characteristics. The clip includes a body having a penetration-resistant base, a channel interface extending outwardly from a portion of the base configured to engage the support channel, and an opening in another portion of the base, a grommet engaged in the opening of the body, and an insert engaged in the grommet. The channel interface includes at least a first slot configured to receive a channel fastener to secure the support channel to the clip. The clip may be operatively coupled with a support channel and disposed in a building construction between the support channel and a finished interior element.
