摘要: Devices, systems, and associated methods for attaching materials (e.g., baffles, panels, etc.) to ceiling or side wall surfaces of a building and/or other substructure of a building are disclosed herein. In some embodiments, the systems include a clip having outwardly facing pockets configured to operably engage opposing protrusions of a channel of a support beam. The system can further include a locking device pivotably coupled to the clip and movable between an unlocked position and a locked position in which a portion of the locking device is positioned between the pockets to prevent the clip from inadvertently disengaging from the channel.

摘要: An acoustic ceiling baffle that includes a baffle body and one or more attachment mechanisms disposed on a top edge of the baffle body configured to couple and decouple from a runner of a ceiling suspension system. The attachment mechanisms include a recessed portion that receives the runner. The recessed portion includes a first section and a second section with an opening disposed between the first section and the second section. The first section is configured to engage with a face of the runner when the acoustic ceiling baffle is coupled to the runner. The attachment mechanism further includes a first retention member and a second retention member formed around the recessed portion, each retention member comprising a bottom edge that is configured to engage with a top surface of a face of the runner.

摘要: Embodiments described herein are directed to a sound-dampening baffle and lighting apparatus and methods of production therefor. In one embodiment, a sound-dampening baffle and lighting apparatus is provided that includes a structural frame which provides support for a sound-dampening outer layer and a light source. The sound-dampening outer layer is disposed around the structural frame. The sound-dampening baffle and lighting apparatus also includes a light source disposed on the structural frame. The light source is directionally switchable so that light emanating from the light source points upward, downward or both.

摘要: An integrated ceiling and light system that incorporates a light module into a ceiling tile. The system may include a grid support system suspended from an overhead support structure that includes at least one grid support element and first and second ceiling tiles supported by the grid support element in an adjacent manner. A nesting cavity may be formed into the first and second ceiling tiles such that a light module may be disposed within the nesting cavity and coupled to the first and second ceiling tiles. The ceiling tiles may be of the type that conceals the grid support element on which it is supported. In one alternative embodiment, the light module and a nesting region of the ceiling tile may include corresponding edge profiles to facilitate mating therebetween to enable coupling of the light source to the ceiling tile.

摘要: A ceiling system in one embodiment includes a support grid including intersecting grid support members and grid openings formed between the grid support members. A vertical baffle is positioned in a grid opening and is attached to the support grid. The baffle includes opposing front and rear faces extending between opposing lateral sides of the baffle. First and second mounting grooves formed in the baffle engage and support the baffle from the grid. In one embodiment, one of the mounting grooves is disposed in each lateral side to support the baffle from opposite sides. The baffle may further include a third mounting groove formed in the rear face which engages the support grid to help align and squarely register the baffle with respect to the grid for clean linear visuals. In one embodiment, the grid support members may have a standard T-shaped cross section.
