The connector comprises an elongate spacer member having flanges formed thereon intermediate a central portion thereof and each opposite end thereof. A composite insulated concrete form and a method of using the insulated concrete form are also disclosed.

Disclosed are an H-beam and a method for constructing a concrete form using the H-beam and non-metallic sheathing board. An H-beam includes a middle support part interposed between two adjacent sheathing boards so that lateral surfaces of edge portions of the two adjacent sheathing boards respectively contact both lateral surfaces of the middle support part and are supported by the middle support part, and edge connection parts bent perpendicular from both side end portions of the middle support part and extending forward and backward in a longitudinal direction in order to cover front and rear surfaces of the edge portions of the sheathing boards and support the same. Accordingly, connection of the sheathing boards can be achieved rapidly and easily, construction processes are simplified, and work time is remarkably reduced. As a result, work efficiency is improved.

A system for insulating only the interior surface of a concrete wall to be poured between a pair of interior and exterior wall forms. The system includes horizontally extending elongated tie strips which connect to each of the wall forms to hold the wall forms spaced apart, a single layer of insulation positioned in contact with the interior wall form, and a plurality of connectors for securing the single layer of insulation to only the interior surface of the concrete wall. The connectors include an enlarged head portion which engages the insulation and a web portion of smaller cross section which extends through apertures in the insulation and into the space between the wall forms, the web portion including openings for the passage of concrete therethrough.

A concrete form tie clamp for retaining a form wall or plurality of panels in a selected position during the pouring of the concrete within the structure and the form tie clamp is removably clamped on a rod or member of the structure and extending outwardly from a form wall and in a position having one end of a clamping or stop structure in engagement with said form wall. The clamping or stop structure includes first and second housing each of which have a respective cavity therein to receive and retain a respective one of first and second clamping members therein and each selectively movable into clamped engagement with a respective portion of the exterior surface of the rod or member in response to movement of a lever member pivotally mounted on one of the housings and having laterally spaced arms pivotally mounted on one end of the lever member and engageable with the other housing. A keeper member is pivotally mounted on the lever member and is selectively engageable with the rod for retaining the lever member and arms in position thereby holding the clamping members in frictional and clamped engagement with the rod and a plurality of latch members are mounted on one of the housings and engageable with the other housing for cooperating with the keeper member to hold the housings in position with the clamping members in clamped and frictional engagement with the rod.
