摘要: A latch assembly for an access door of a storage compartment in a vehicle, includes a locking bar configured to move into an engaged configuration which enables the access door to be placed and held into a closed position and a disengaged configuration which permits the access door to be placed into an opened position; and an automatic locking mechanism including a shape memory alloy (SMA) actuator configured to be coupled to the access door, and further including a locking feature operably coupled to a portion of the locking bar, and configured to engage and disengage the SMA actuator which is electrically energized to move into a locked position to prohibit the locking feature from moving. A latch assembly for an access door of a storage compartment in a vehicle includes an SMA actuator configured to move the locking bar into the disengaged configuration with the storage compartment.

The electromechanical lock can include a main housing and a deadbolt. The main housing can be configured to extend a deadbolt along a path to lock and/or unlock a door. The deadbolt can have a hollow inner region configured to receive an energy storage device. The energy storage device within the deadbolt can be electrically connected to the main housing. The energy storage device can be used to power an actuator and/or accelerometer in the main housing.

摘要: A knife station includes a knife block defining a plurality of slots for receiving a plurality of cutlery objects. A locking assembly selectively locks the cutlery objects in their respective slot, e.g., using a locking pin that passes through an aperture in the blade. A controller is operably coupled to an audio device, such as a microphone, for receiving voice commands. The voice commands are converted to text commands using AI-based speech recognition technology and the text commands are compared to a database of text commands to identify a target cutlery object from the cutlery objects in the knife block. The controller may then illuminate a light emitting diode next to the target cutlery and unlock only that piece of cutlery so that the user may withdraw it from the knife block.

摘要: A tamper-resistant lock assembly comprising a plate having a slot for receiving a key, the slot extending through the plate from an opening in a front face thereof to an exit in an opposing rear face thereof, the opening having a first profile and the exit having a second, different profile, the key comprising a shaft having a bit extending therefrom, the bit being formed of a shape memory material and being pre-configured such that its cross-sectional shape in its temporary form matches the first profile and the bit can be inserted through the slot via the opening and, upon application of a predetermined external stimulus, returns to a permanent form in which its cross-sectional shape matches the second profile and the bit can be retracted from the slot via the exit.

摘要: The present invention provides a secure storage, management and delivery device for a composition paired with a digital technology. The storage system includes a digital controller and a storage device having an access panel configured to open and close in order to control access to a cavity of the storage device and an electro-mechanical lock configured to lock and unlock the access panel. The digital controller is configured to wirelessly communicate with the storage device in order to control the electro-mechanical lock. The access panel comprises an environmental control component adapted to minimize an environmental effect when the access panel is closed.

摘要: Certain aspects of the technology disclosed herein include an apparatus and method for electrically and mechanically connecting a deadbolt to a main housing of a lock. The main housing can be configured to extend a deadbolt along a path to lock and/or unlock a door while receiving electrical energy from an energy storage device disposed in the deadbolt. The energy storage device disposed in the deadbolt can be proximate to one or more electrical contacts electrically connected to one or more components in the main housing via conductive components of a bolt carriage. The bolt carriage includes a groove attachable to a male detent connector attached to the deadbolt. The groove in the bolt carriage provides a mechanical connection to the deadbolt and also aligns pogo pins with electrical components of the bolt carriage to enable electrical transmission from the deadbolt to the main housing.

摘要: A safe comprises a housing having a first housing portion and a second housing defining an interior compartment for storage of items, the second housing portion being pivotal with respect to the first housing portion between closed and open positions. A latching mechanism cooperates with spaced apart first and second strikers to maintain the second housing portion in the closed position. The latching mechanism includes movable first and second locking elements that engage respective of the first and second strikers when the second housing portion is being maintained in the closed position. The first and second locking elements are retracted away from the first and second strikers to release the second housing portion into the open position. A motor having a rotatable output shaft carries a drive dog. A rotating plate rotatable about an axis is also provided, the rotating plate having an engaging element that is driven by the drive dog. First and second levers are pivotally connected at their proximal ends to the rotating plate at substantially diametrically opposed locations, distal ends of the first and second levers being connected to the locking elements.

摘要: An electric door lock uses an interface to receive a credential to disengage a door lock. The interface is disposed on the user-graspable handle. The interface may comprise a sensor that receives a credential, such as an alphanumeric or symbolic code, a biometric input, or any appropriate combination of inputs. After a credential is entered, a gesture may be input to the interface to indicate that the credential is complete and prompt a controller to disengage the lock device. A gesture may comprise a motion or series or motions. The electric door lock also provides a control system that can be networked to allow remote entry of a credential. The control system can also control a plurality of door handles through a single door, or provide controls through remote devices.

摘要: This invention permits (or rejects) access to a secure location by authenticating precision up to 106 i.e. 10 to the power 6 or 1,000,000. Sector (Maintenance & Support): Highly specialized Maintenance and Support services for customers utilizing this security mechanism. For example, Support services such as, customer might need help for delivering such keys securely, replace existing keys in event of malfunction of the old key, Support key and metal plate manufacturers by regularly providing updates on new alloys designed by R&D firms. 4. Sector (Private networks): Private networks connecting R&D firms and Manufacturers, and another private network connecting Manufacturers and Maintenance & Support, and another network connecting Maintenance & Support services and existing customers.
