摘要： A demountable modular wall system including a series of individual wall panels that can be positioned adjacent to each other. The demountable wall system includes a doorway defined by a pair of spaced vertical posts and a horizontal header. In one embodiment, a sliding glass door is movable along a sliding door track mounted to the horizontal header. A lower trim assembly mounted to the bottom end of the sliding glass door adjusts the overall height of the door. The doorway can also include a pivoting glass door. The pivoting glass door includes a bottom pivot assembly having a bottom clamp adjustably positioned along a bottom end of the pivoting glass door. The adjustable bottom clamp can be moved along the bottom end of the pivoting glass door and receives a pivot pin supported on the floor. A top pivot assembly includes a movable plunger that defines a portion of the pivot axis for the pivoting glass door.

摘要： A nosing and drip cap are mounted to each other by elements of the nosing and drip cap. A hook receptacle and/or a stud receptacle extend the length of the nosing. A cooperating hook and/or stud extend from the drip cap. The drip cap is secured to the nosing by engaging the hook in the hook receptacle and/or the stud in the stud receptacle, in a loose engagement combination. While nosing and drip cap are engaged, the assembly can be secured together by (i) installing fasteners spaced along the length of the assembly or, where hook and hook receptacle are used, (ii) bending the assembly into an arcuate configuration, with the inner flange of the nosing to the inside of the bend. While being bent, the hook and hook receptacle create a tightened locking-type engagement between themselves. Either way, the nosing and the drip cap are substantially permanently locked together.

摘要： A door assembly of the type having a frame mounted to a wall. The frame comprises a head portion, opposed vertical jamb portions and a sill portion. Doors are provided in the frame. A door in the frame is displaceable between an open position and a closed position. The doors comprise a sash portion supporting a see-through panel. Each of the head portion, the jamb portion, the sill portion, and the sash portion of the door has one external cladding and one internal cladding. The external cladding and the internal cladding are detachably connected to one another, such that only the external cladding is exposed to an exterior of the door assembly and only the internal cladding is exposed to an interior of the door assembly when the door is in the closed position. A method for interconnecting two hollow elongated extruded sections of the door sash is also provided.

摘要： An airflow reduction system includes an insulating panel assembly for sealing a window within a jamb. The insulating panel assembly has a frame configured to fit within the jamb and a glazing panel in the frame coated with a low-emissivity or solar control coating or film. The frame may include one or more cavities extending along its length. The assembly may also include a blind stop and/or a trim stop installed on either side of the frame within the jamb. A compressible seal around the external perimeter of the frame bears against the jamb to form a first barrier impeding the flow of air, and the blind stop or the trim stop forms a second barrier impeding the flow of air. Also disclosed is a mounting assembly including an insulating panel assembly and at least one bracket and a method of installing the same.

摘要： A ventilation device for mounting in a wall of a building includes a supporting framework adapted for mounting in the wall and forming an air flow passageway for flow from the exterior of the wall to an opposite side. A vent flapper is pivotally mounted in the framework for selective movement within the framework between a closed position where air flow through the passage is prevented and an open position where air flow is allowed. Thermal insulation material is fixedly mounted on or in the vent flapper and is arranged to extend across the air flow passage in the closed position of the vent flapper. A handle can be mounted on an interior-facing side of the flapper for moving it between the closed and open positions. An exemplarily version of the device includes a vent cover mounted on the supporting framework at an exterior end of the air flow passage.
