    摘要: A flapper seat assembly that is replaceable with respect to a safety valve positioned downhole in a wellbore is described herein. For example, the safety valve can be positioned downhole in a wellbore and can include a housing. Additionally, the safety valve can include a flow tube that can be coupled to a downhole tool. The flow tube can be removed from the safety valve in response to a first force applied to the flow tube. A portion of the flapper seat assembly can be detached from a housing profile to remove the flapper seat assembly from the wellbore in response to a second force applied to the flapper seat assembly. After removing the flapper seat assembly, a second flapper seat assembly can be attached to the safety valve.

    摘要: A subsurface safety valve includes an interior bore and a hinged valve actuatable between an open position and a closed position in which the hinged valve creates a fluid-tight seal with the interior bore. A latching mechanism secures an isolation tool within the interior bore of the valve. The isolation tool includes a tubular body having an exterior surface corresponding to the interior bore and an interior surface defining an internal bore. An annular groove is disposed on the exterior surface of the tubular body, and an annular seal is disposed in the annular groove. An equalization port is disposed downhole of the annular seal, and has one or more apertures for fluidly coupling an upper and lower portion of a wellbore. The subsurface safety valve further includes a control line for controlling the valve at a surface of the wellbore.

    摘要: A method for removing a flapper seat assembly that is replaceable from a safety valve positioned downhole in a wellbore is described herein. For example, the safety valve is positioned downhole in a wellbore and can include a housing. Additionally, the safety valve can include a flow tube coupled to a downhole tool. The flow tube can be removed from the safety valve in response to a first force applied by the downhole tool. A first tool profile can be coupled to a first assembly profile for coupling the downhole tool to the flapper seat assembly after removing the flow tube. A second assembly profile can be detached from a housing profile to remove the flapper seat assembly from the wellbore in response to a second force applied by the downhole tool. After removing the flapper seat assembly, a second flapper seat assembly can be attached to the safety valve.

    摘要: A downhole tool can be used as a fill valve to circulate a fluid, such as a spacer fluid, through the tool. The tool can include a top and bottom flapper valve and an inner and outer sliding sleeve. The sliding sleeves can be shifted together to allow the top flapper valve to close. Continued shifting of the inner sleeve can cause the bottom flapper valve to close. A cementing operation can then be performed through the tool. Sealing elements can be located between the outside of the inner sleeve and inside of the outer sleeve. Sealing elements can also be located between the outside of the outer sleeve and the inside of a tool mandrel. The sealing elements can prevent debris from becoming lodged within the tool.

    摘要: A sub-surface safety valve having a positional flapper, a valve seat, and a remotely actionable opening prong. The opening prong comprising at least one of a debris wiper, filter, and at least one flow hole. The wiper, filter, and at least one flow hole function according to either position or movement of the flapper and opening prong and prevent debris buildup around the valve seat. The wiper is an extendible material in communication with the valve seat and a surface of the opening prong and it extends radially in response to closing the valve. The extension of the wiper in response to closing the flapper cause the wiper to scrape the surface of the valve seat. The filter can comprise a screen integrated with or attached to the opening prong. The flow holes can be in the form of angled flow holes or elongated slots.
