    摘要: High pressure gas lift valve with dual edge welded bellow subassembly where two bellows are incorporated in sealed configuration filled with silicone oil. Bellows are of different sizes featuring equal volumetric oil displacement for the pre-set total compression/expansion which corresponds to equal stem travel. By design both bellows can be fully compressed solid preventing bellows overstressing allowing extremely high pressure to be applied to both bellows. Lower bellow effective area is larger for orifice area than upper bellow area. This eliminates differential pressure across the bellows during valve opening resulting in equalized internal/external bellow stresses. Both bellows work only in compression from free length to full compression.
    This results in bellow internal/external pressure and stress level equalization and long cycle life. Valve withstands high injection pressure for well integrity testing. Once lower bellow is fully compressed solid high pressure would not be transmitted to upper bellow and vice versa.

    摘要: An equalizer valve is hydraulically operated by a pair of control lines running from a remote location such as a well surface. The use of control lines to make a mandrel or piston move in opposed directions removes the need for a spring or compressed gas to act as a spring against the anticipated hydrostatic force in a single control line system that is dependent on setting depth. The equalizer valve with its pair of control lines is insensitive to setting depth. Three seals on the mandrel are used to move the mandrel with the two control lines in opposed directions and to apply a net force to the mandrel. The seal applying the net closure force is exposed to a low or atmospheric chamber to make the second seal operate reliably using a large differential.

    摘要: A pressure activated cyclical valve assembly includes a first sub, a second sub, a piston, and a biasing member. The first sub has a first passageway therethrough. The second sub is coupled to the first sub and has a second passageway therethrough. The piston is positioned within the second passageway and is shiftable between a deactivated position in which a bypass port is closed and an activated position in which the bypass port is open. The piston has a piston orifice and the first passageway is in fluid communication with the second passageway through the piston orifice. The biasing member exerts a force against the piston to maintain the piston in the deactivated position. The piston orifice is sized to restrict the flow of fluid therethrough such that the piston can be shifted between the deactivated and activated positions by changing flowrate of fluid in the first passageway.

    摘要: A control system for a Subsurface Safety Valve (SSSV), includes an actuating piston mounted in a housing with at least one seal and connected to the SSSV. The actuating piston having a first end and a second end, the first end in fluid communication with a control line; a primary pressure reservoir in fluid communication with the second end of the actuating piston, the reservoir configured to contain a fluid under an amount of pressure selected to act against a prospective hydrostatic pressure expected in the control line based upon the selected position of the control system in a downhole environment. An equalizing piston in fluid communication with both the control line and with the second end of the actuating piston, the equalizing piston remaining in a closed position during shifting of the actuating piston with pressure applied or removed from the control line, the equalizing piston movable to an open position upon a control system failure that reduces pressure in the primary reservoir to below a threshold value; and a condition sensing and chemical injection assembly in fluid communication with the primary reservoir.
