    摘要： An earth discharging device, for a shield machine for constructing a tunnel in the vertical direction, has a pipe for discharging downwardly earth and sand that have been excavated by the machine as it advances upwardly. An elastic film-type valve is provided in the earth discharging pipe, which valve expands and contracts diametrically by means of fluid pressure to open and close the interior of the earth discharging pipe. A gate mechanism follows the elastic valve and adjusts the sectional area of the space through which earth and sand pass inside of the earth discharging pipe. The gate mechanism narrows the sectional area of the earth discharging pipe at the outlet side of the elastic valve so as to create a substantially uniform earth pressure upon the entire elastic valve to inhibit blockages and eruptions that might otherwise occur.

    摘要： A bedplate is rigidly affixed relative to the tunnel floor and includes a centrally disposed shaft extending upwardly therefrom. A rotatable base member is mounted on the bedplate for rotation about the central shaft. A boring machine adapted to bore upwardly is secured to the rotatable base member. The boring machine is swung upwardly along a selected arc of vertical circle and the base member is rotated to a selected azimuth. Following rotation, the rotatable base member is itself rigidly affixed relative to the tunnel floor.

    摘要： A safety arrangement which pertains to drill bits for reamer drilling and which is intended to prevent the drill bit from falling freely down the hole in the event of a breakage in an element that connects the drill bit with an overlying rotatable carrier element, the element forming part of a drill string that carries the drill bit, wherein the element includes a longitudinal hole that extends internally along at least a part of the length of the element, and the hole has disposed therein a safety device which functions to capture the element and therewith also the drill bit should the element break, the capture being achieved by virtue of the safety device being connected to a threaded part of the overlying element and also to a part of the element located at a distance from the threaded part of the element.

    摘要： An apparatus for producing an upwardly directed drill hole with feed cylinders and a clamping cylinders contains a pressure medium system with a pump, a supply duct and a control valve. In order to attain a particularly favorable and simple design, a second pump is provided, for feeding a second supply duct, from which at least one branch duct containing a choke or the like leads to the drilling head or its tools. The control valve is provided between the first pump and the first supply duct for one set of sides of the clamping and feed cylinders.
