    摘要: A process for lining a tunnel with concrete behind a tunnel excavator having a for front advanced along with an excavator head in which the concrete is forced between the surrounding subterranean geological structure and an inner tunnel-lining form through a form front which rides sealingly on the outer surface of the inner tunnel-lining form and on the inner surface of the shield. Simultaneously, the form front, which is longitudinally movable relative to the shield, moves forward relative to the inner tunnel-lining form. The form front is movable forward simultaneously balancing the friction forces occurring between the form front and the shield and the inner tunnel-lining form. Satisfactory results are obtained when the friction forces between concrete sections of a predetermined length are measured by moving the form front relative to the stationary shield and the inner tunnel-lining form during an interruption in concrete feed. An apparatus for carrying out the process includes a hydraulic spring device attached between the form front and the shield which is a part of a control loop having a control device connected to the concrete pump. The hydraulic cylinder device can comprise a plurality of double-cylinder piston-cylinder devices.

    摘要: A tunnel excavating and lining apparatus comprises a plurality of hollow cylindrical shields arranged in end-to-end coaxial relationship with a cutting and steering shield in a forwardmost position, an intermediate shield, and a power shield in a rearwardmost position. Six 100 ton power jacks are disposed in equal circumaxially spaced relationship within the power shield with rear end portions engaging a slidable cylindrical push ring. The push ring is disposed in the power shield between the jacks and a forwardmost cylindrical tunnel liner element. Tunnel liner elements are sectional and arranged in coaxial end-to-end relationship with external diameters slightly less than the internal diameter of the power shield. Thus, the forwardmost liner element can be constructed within the power shield and when the push ring engages the same the power shield can thus be advanced by simultaneous operation of the power jacks.

    摘要: The proposed shield comprises in its frame a drive for advancing the shield along a path, a device for absorbing the thrust force from the drive and transmitting it to concrete in the process of its being pressed, a forming unit for forming the inner surface of a concrete lining, which, according to the invention, includes a former mounted coaxially in the shield frame and adapted to move by a drive along the shield longitudinal axis, and a supporting structure installed rearwardly of the former and adapted to move along the longitudinal axis of the concrete lining. The present invention will be most advantageously used in sand or unstable soil, where it makes possible to drive a tunnel practically without setting the earth surface and to preserve overground buildings situated close to the tunnel construction area. The present invention prevents the concrete lining from cracking in the process of its being formed.

    摘要: A plant for use in tunnel constructions and having a drive shield with a cutting head for driving into a working face to advance the tunnel. A plurality of rams which act upon an abutment member are used to drive the shield forwards. The abutment member transmits the forces from the rams to a mass of fluid concrete introduced under pressure and supported on support means such as a tubular shell or series of rings spaced inwardly from the tunnel wall. The concrete when hardened forms a continuous lining for the tunnel wall. Water is removed from the fluid concrete with the aid of filters provided on the abutment member of the support means.

A tunnel construction made by the method, special forms of tubbing stones and new embodiments of drive means for the tunnel are disclosed.
