    摘要: An adaptive stepped compensator valve for controling hydromechanical control apparatus having high and low pressure control lines. The adaptive stepped compensator valve includes a housing having an elongated bore and a plurality of ports formed therein, a sleeve, disposed in sealed slidable engagement with the housing in the bore, and having an opening formed therein extending the length of the sleeve and direct acting main and balance spools disposed in the opening. High pressure fluid is inputed into a first chamber of the valve formed by the main spool and a second chamber formed by a balance spool. Low pressure fluid is inputted into a third chamber formed by an end of the main spool which abuts an end of the balance spool. The invention outputs a control signal based upon a detected difference in pressure between the high pressure fluid and the low pressure fluid. An adaptive operation of the valve is accomplished by axial movement of the sleeve which controls the amount of fluid outputted as a control signal by the valve. Stepped operation of the valve is accomplished by balancing the valve by inputting high pressure fluid in the first and second chambers of the valve.

A set of eccentric rings are rotatably mounted on an eccentric portion of the crank shaft. Thus, a piston reciprocally moves in the individual cylindrical bores.

    摘要: An engine that has expandable cylinders receives its pressure from a steam boiler or any other expanding, external gases, and/or liquid devices. The motor or pump is made of, encased, reciprocating spheres and toroidal cavities that are located in the outer wheels allowing said balls to cam in and out, rotating the said outer wheels. The steam, gases or liquid is presented under pressure at the intake sliding type valve of the motor and the cam action of the piston (balls) creates a closed chamber which causes the chambers (cylinders) to expand and the outer wheels to turn. A sliding exhaust valve then opens up to expel the expended material (steam) aided by the balls. The balls are then cammed to the opposite side creating a seal for that chamber and the action repeats. A pressurized lubricant is introduced via the ball tubes enhancing the chamber seals. The outer wheels are surfaced to the middle block at a close tolerance to make a lubricated seal.

    摘要: An internal combustion engine have a rotor secured to a drive shaft and provided with a curved cylinder near the outer periphery thereof. A beam is rockingly mounted on a hub of the rotor and one end of the beam is connected by a rod to a piston fitted to the cylinder while the opposite end of the beam is connected by a gear train to a rim of the rotor. The arrangement allows the rotor to rotate continuously in one direction carrying with it the piston which is reciprocated in the cylinder by the action of the gear train. During each complete revolution of the rotor there is an intake, compression, power and exhaust stroke of the piston with the power stroke serving to drive the rotor a short distance ahead of the piston and thereby impart a driving impulse to the drive shaft.
