摘要: One or more techniques and/or systems are disclosed for a pumping system that includes a self-priming pump, a remotely coupled controller configured to operate the self-priming pump and other portions of the system, a discharge flow meter, and a bleed valve coupled to the self-priming pump. The system can be remotely accessed, programmed, and transmit data to a remote device. The bleed valve can comprise a loss of prime sensor in the body, and when the loss of prime is detected in the pump and/or the discharge flow meter detects a loss of flow, the pump and/or controller may be used to help re-establish prime in the pump by opening the relief outlet and operating the pump at an increased rate.

摘要: Systems and methods for operating hydraulic fracturing units, each including a hydraulic fracturing pump to pump fracturing fluid into a wellhead and an internal combustion engine to drive the hydraulic fracturing pump, may include receiving signals indicative of operational parameters. The systems and methods also may include determining an amount of required fracturing power sufficient to perform the hydraulic fracturing operation, determining an available power to perform the hydraulic fracturing operation and a difference between the available power and the required power, and controlling operation of the hydraulic fracturing units based at least in part on the power difference. When the power difference is indicative of excess power available, the system and methods may include causing at least one of the hydraulic fracturing units to idle, and when the power difference is indicative of a power deficit, increasing a power output of at least one of the hydraulic fracturing units.

摘要: A beverage syrup pump system is disclosed including a pump housing having an internal pumping chamber, a pump motor, and a pumping mechanism driven by the motor within the pumping chamber. The pumping mechanism receives a syrup fluid at a first pressure and discharges the fluid at a second pressure which is greater than the first pressure. Connected to the pumping chamber is a cylindrical space with a spring and a plunger having a magnet. The plunger is in contact with a quantity of the fluid at a second pressure and moves along the cylindrical space against the biasing force of the spring. Once the second pressure exceeds a predetermined pressure, the corresponding fluid pressure in the cylindrical space exerts enough force on the plunger to move it past a predetermined point within the cylindrical space such that the magnet causes a reed switch in a first position switch to move to a second position and send a signal to a controller. The controller will immediately stop the pump motor if it receives the signal from the reed switch, or if a timer sends a signal indicating the pump has been running for a predetermined maximum run time.

The PWM drive signal has a plurality of “on” portions and a plurality of “off” portions that define a first duty cycle for regulating, at least in part, a flow rate of a pump assembly. At least a portion of the “on” portions of the PWM drive signal are pulse width modulated to define a second duty cycle for the at least a portion of the “on” portions of the PWM drive signal. The second duty cycle regulates, at least in part, the percentage of the defined voltage potential applied to the pump assembly.

摘要: Example embodiments relate to a water feature. The water feature includes a vessel and an electrically powered submersible pump within the vessel, an outlet fluidly connected to the pump, a solar panel, and a battery. The water feature also includes a controller, a processor, and a non-transitory computer-readable medium which stores a set of program instructions which cause the water feature to perform operations. The operations include receiving a predetermined time to operate the pump on the battery. Based on the predetermined time, the operations include allocating a percent of a total electrical power generated by the solar panel to charge the battery and a remainder of the total electrical power generated to operate the pump. The operations additionally include determining that the battery has reached a threshold power level associated with the predetermined time to operate the pump and allocating the total electrical power generated to operate the pump.

In some embodiments, the cassette includes a thermal well for permitting the sensing of various properties of a subject media. The thermal well includes a hollow housing of a thermally conductive material. In other embodiments, the cassette includes sensor leads for sensing of various properties of a subject media. The thermal well has an inner surface shaped so as to form a mating relationship with a sensing probe. The mating thermally couples the inner surface with a sensing probe. In some embodiments, the thermal well is located on a disposable portion and the sensing probe on a reusable portion.

摘要: A method controls the start-up of an oil pump of a gearbox by a brushless electric motor that has no position sensor. The stator coils are powered from the off mode in a constant-current open-loop control sequence until the pump reaches a speed threshold at which speed regulation switches over to closed-loop control on a setpoint corresponding to the lubrication flow rate required to ensure the reliability of the gearbox, but without in so doing exceeding a current threshold indicative of pump seizure, at which point motor control switches back over to the constant-current open-loop control sequence. The open-loop current setpoint is higher than the threshold for switching over to closed-loop control so that in the open-loop control mode the motor torque available at the pump is higher than in the closed-loop control mode.
