摘要: It is possible to perform a failure diagnosis of a pressure sensor with a simple structure without installing a dedicated circuit for the failure diagnosis. In a common rail type fuel injection control apparatus, a pressure control valve 12 is provided in a fuel return path from a common rail 1, and a rail pressure detected by a pressure sensor 11 can be controlled to match a target rail pressure through drive control of the pressure control valve 12 by an electronic control unit 4. The target rail pressure is calculated based on operational information of an engine 3. In the common rail type fuel injection control apparatus, learning processing is performed, in which a correction coefficient Cv is stored and updated as a learning value to correct energization characteristics of a median product of the pressure control valves 12 that are stored in the electronic control unit 4. At the same time, it is determined whether the learning value of the correction coefficient Cv is within a predetermined range. When it is determined that it is not within the predetermined range, the pressure sensor 11 is diagnosed as having a failure.

摘要: A pressure sensor compensation system for a control system of an engine includes N engine-off pressure measuring modules. The N engine-off pressure measuring modules calculate differences between pressure values of a corresponding one of N pressure sensors and others of the N pressure sensors when the engine is off. The N engine-off pressure measuring modules calculate N corresponding pressure correction values based on the differences, where N is an integer greater than one. N pressure compensating modules generate N corrected pressure values when the engine is on based on N uncorrected pressure values from the N pressure sensors and the N pressure correction values.

摘要: Engines produce not only primary energy in the form of kinetic energy transmitted through a rotating crankshaft but also secondary energy which may comprise kinetic energy in other forms as well as thermal energy. In order to reduce engine running costs and increase efficiency there is a desire to make best use of all forms of energy produced by an engine. The disclosure relates to the adoption of an equivalent consumption minimisation strategy by which the engine may be controlled to derive useful energy from a first proportion of primary energy and a second proportion of secondary energy wherein the first and second proportions are selected to minimise overall energy consumption.

摘要: Disclosed is a method for adapting mechanical tolerances of a timing wheel of a sensor unit of an internal combustion engine of a hybrid drive of a vehicle, the hybrid drive having at least one second motor, in particular an electric motor, in addition to the internal combustion engine, and the internal combustion engine being operated in a desired operating mode during adaptation operation. It is provided that the desired operating mode is performed in such a way that the internal combustion engine is driven using the second motor, in particular an electric motor, and no fuel is supplied to the internal combustion engine. A corresponding device is also disclosed.

摘要: A learning device changes each of multiple parameters to an increased side and to a decreased side with respect to a reference value set for each of the multiple parameters. The learning device calculates an approximation degree for each combination of the changes of the multiple parameters. The learning device performs update by using the combination of the changes providing the highest approximation degree among the approximation degrees as the combination of the updated reference values when an update end condition is not satisfied. The update end condition is a condition that the approximation degree at the reference values is higher than any of the approximation degrees after the change. The learning device decides the reference values as learning values of the multiple parameters when the update end condition is satisfied.
