The controller is configured to perform a comparison of the engine condition to a threshold and in response to the comparison, generate a first command to deactivate the fuel injector after a first predetermined time period and a second command to reactivate the fuel injector after a second predetermined time period.

The apparatus updates vehicle behavior characteristic data so as to represent actual vehicle behavior characteristics, based on the acquired turning characteristics, the acquired acceleration characteristic, and the acquired deceleration characteristic.

摘要: Methods and systems are provided for controlling an engine idle-stop based on upcoming traffic and road conditions. In one example, a method may include receiving data including traffic information and road characteristics immediately ahead of a vehicle from one or more remote sources, and adjusting one or more vehicle thresholds based on the received data. A duration of a prospective engine idle-stop may be estimated based on the received data and an engine idle-stop may be initiated based on the duration of the prospective engine idle-stop and the adjusted one or more vehicle threshold.

摘要: In a drive unit of a fuel injection device, an electric current is supplied to the fuel injection device by applying a high voltage to the fuel injection device from a high voltage source whose voltage is boosted to a voltage higher than a battery voltage at the time of opening a valve of the fuel injection device. Thereafter, the electric current supplied to the fuel injection device is lowered to a current value at which a valve element cannot be held in a valve open state by stopping the applying of the high voltage from the high voltage source. Thereafter, in a stage where a supply current is switched to a hold current, another high voltage is applied to the fuel injection device from the high voltage source.

摘要: Various embodiments may adjust fuel injections to account for phase differences of the piston stroke and the valve strokes of a reciprocating-piston engine. For example: measuring dynamic pressure oscillations assigned of the air in the intake tract or the gas in the outlet tract; determining a crankshaft phase angle signal; determining the phase positions of selected signal frequencies of the oscillations in relation to the signal; determining lines of equal phase positions based on the phase positions of the selected frequencies; determining a common intersection point of the lines by projection into a common plane spanned by inlet valve stroke phase difference and outlet valve stroke phase difference and signal-frequency-dependent phase shifting; determining the inlet and outlet phase difference from the common intersection point; determining the piston stroke phase difference from the phase shift; and adjusting an amount of a fuel injection based on the determined differences.

摘要: A method of improving fuel efficiency by analyzing a driving pattern of a vehicle may include: calculating weighting factors according to a driving pattern of the vehicle at coordinates, which are the ratios of weightings accumulated at the coordinates to the sum of the weightings accumulated at all coordinates in an engine operation region; calculating a reference fuel consumption ratio KFUEL and a reference NOx exhaust ratio KNOx using the weighting factors; determining whether the reference NOx exhaust ratio KNOx exceeds a predetermined comparative value; and controlling an engine to improve fuel efficiency when the reference NOx exhaust ratio KNOx is equal to or less than the predetermined comparative value.

摘要: An exhaust purification system is provided with a NOx-occlusion-reduction-type catalyst and a NOx purge rich control unit that executes NOx purge in a case where a catalyst temperature of the NOx-occlusion-reduction-type catalyst is equal to or higher than a catalyst temperature threshold value and a NOx occlusion amount of the NOx-occlusion-reduction-type catalyst is equal to or higher than an NOx occlusion amount threshold value and executes the NOx purge even when the catalyst temperature is lower than a catalyst temperature threshold value in a case where the NOx occlusion amount is equal to or greater than the occlusion amount threshold value, a fuel injection amount resulting from an accelerator operation is equal to or greater than an injection amount threshold value, and an exhaust temperature detected by a first exhaust temperature sensor is equal to or higher than an exhaust temperature threshold value.

摘要: When the engine is off and not combusting fuel for one of an auto-stop portion of an auto-stop/start event and operation in a sail mode, a selection module sets at least one of: a selected torque based on a pseudo torque output of the engine; and a selected engine speed based on a pseudo engine speed determined for the one of the auto-stop portion of the auto-stop/start event and the operation in the sail mode. A sound control module, based on the at least one of the selected engine speed and the selected torque, sets at least one of: a frequency at which to output a predetermined engine sound; and a magnitude for outputting the predetermined engine sound at the frequency. An audio driver module applies power to at least one speaker of the vehicle to output the predetermined engine sound at the frequency and the magnitude.
