摘要: The invention relates to an engine having prechamber ignition, in particular a gas engine, that comprises a main combustion space in a cylinder of the engine for combusting an air-fuel mixture and a prechamber having an ignition device arranged therein and a fuel injector arranged therein, wherein the prechamber has at least one transfer port that fluidically connects the prechamber to the main combustion space. The engine is characterized in that the fuel injector arranged in the prechamber is the only fuel injector via which fuel can be introduced into the associated main combustion space.

摘要: A fuel supplying device for an internal combustion engine includes a tank configured to store a gaseous fuel, a fuel injection valve configured to supply the gaseous fuel to a cylinder of the internal combustion engine, a fuel passage configured to supply the gaseous fuel in the tank to the fuel injection valve, and a pressure reduction valve provided in the fuel passage. The fuel passage has a double-walled pipe structure including an inner pipe through which the gaseous fuel flows and an outer pipe that has an inner diameter larger than the inner pipe and covers the inner pipe. The fuel passage is configured such that a coolant is supplied to a space between the outer pipe and the inner pipe.

摘要: Disclosed herein are a method of controlling a water injector for immediate water injection and an engine driven by the method. A method of controlling an operation of a water injector for injecting water into the combustion chamber of an engine to which a turbo system for increasing the amount of air by pressing air has been applied includes detecting water pressure applied to a water supply pipe for supplying water to the water injector, stopping an operation of a water supply pump when the detected data reaches a preset reference value, detecting a temperature of water within the water supply pipe for supplying the water to the water injector, and returning the water within the water supply pipe to a water storage tank and driving the water supply pump to supplying new water to the water supply pipe when the detected data deviates from a preset range.

摘要: Methods and systems are provided for reducing coking deposits in a fuel injection system. In one example, a method may comprise humidifying intake air of an intake system of an engine in response to a determination that fuel injector coking is occurring, or after a duration has passed since a most recent humidification event. A humidifying fluid, such as water, may be injected into the intake system to humidify the intake air, and the resulting humidified intake air may reduce and/or remove coking deposits on one or more direct fuel injectors of the fuel injection system.

摘要: Methods are provided for optimizing usage of water from a water injection system that injects water into the engine responsive to engine operating conditions such as knock, exhaust temperature, and dilution demand. An amount of water selected for injection purposes, as well as an order of water injection responsive to the various engine operating conditions, is varied based on a current water level relative to a predicted future water level. The method allows water usage benefits to be maximized particularly when water availability is limited.

摘要: Provided is a method for enabling high-density air to be efficiently manufactured without unnecessarily increasing the pressure and temperature. A method for manufacturing high-density air according to the present invention includes: mixing raw air A with fine water particles W to generate water-containing air A1 having a lower pressure than the raw air A; supplementing the water-containing air A1 with a differential pressure between the pressure of the raw air A and the pressure of the water-containing air A1; and consequently promoting vaporization of the fine water particles W in the water-containing air A1 and reducing the volume of the water-containing air A1 to manufacture high-density air A2. The density of air can be efficiently increased with this method.

摘要: An engine system 10A is characterized by having a first electrolyzing device 11A for electrolyzing water into hydrogen and oxygen, an engine 12 which runs on the combustion of a mixed gas of the hydrogen and oxygen generated by the first electrolyzing device 11A, a battery 14 for storing electricity, a boosting coil 16 for boosting the voltage of electricity stored in the battery and supplying the boosted high-voltage electricity to the first electrolyzing device 11A and ignition plugs of the engine 12, and an alternator 15 for generating electricity from the running of the engine and supplying the generated electricity to the battery 14. The engine system can be driven by simply replenishing water without requiring construction of refilling stands or replacement of tanks.
