摘要: The invention is directed to a configuration for compressing a gas comprising (i) a reciprocating compressor (8), wherein the compressor comprises a mechanical drive to transfer energy from a variable rotational power source (1) to the compressor and a control valve (34, 35) and an adjustable swash plate (30), wherein adjusting the control valve results in adjusting the swash plate; (ii) a speed sensor (7) to measure the rotational speed of the power source; (iii) a first control means which control means is capable of adjusting the control valve as a function of the rotational speed measured by the speed sensor.

摘要: A windmill is provided having a flywheel attached to the fan shaft and an upwardly extending crank link which is cranked by crank pin mounted off-center on the face of the flywheel. The crank link rocks a rocker beam which may, for example, actuate a pump. The crank link and pump are pivotably attached by sleeves on the rocker beam whereby the amplitude of the rocking motion imparted to the beam and the pump may be adjusted by adjusting the positin of the sleeves along the beam. Counterweights may be provided on the rocker beam for giving the crank link a pulling or a pushing function.

摘要: A system and method for pressure based load measurement are provided. The system and method measure at least one pressure differential on an airfoil and determine at least one aerodynamic load associated with the at least one pressure differential. The determined at least one load is used to modify characteristics of the airfoil to increase efficiency and/or avoid damage. The determined at least one aerodynamic load may be further utilized to balance and/or optimize loads at the airfoil, estimate a load distribution along the airfoil used to derive other metrics about the airfoil, and/or used in a distributed control system to increase efficiency and/or reduce damage to, e.g., one or more wind turbines.
