    摘要: An expandable washer for use with a fastener to maintain tension in the fastener after connection to a component comprises first and second disks. The first and second disks cooperatively define a channel having a dimension parallel to the expansion axis which decreases from a location remote from to a location closer to the expansion axis. The first and second disks are configured to pass the fastener through them and to the component. The fastener operatively engages the first disk for moving with the first disk and to place the fastener in tension when the fastener is connected to the component. The expandable washer further includes a cam located radially outward from the expansion axis and biased for movement toward the expansion axis to drive the first and second disks apart to maintain the application of force against the fastener.

A fastening collar comprises a first collar end, a second collar end, and an elongate portion intermediate the first collar end and the second collar end and defining a longitudinal axis of the fastening collar. The elongate portion comprises a first region adjacent the first collar end, extending a first distance along the longitudinal axis; a second region adjacent to the second collar end, extending a second distance along the longitudinal axis, and comprising a flange; and an inner collar surface defining collar cavity extending through the elongate portion from the first collar end to the second collar end. The second collar end extends away from the longitudinal axis of the elongate portion at a first angle offset from an angle perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the elongate portion.

    摘要: An improved screwed fastening system for railway rails is proposed to allow rail fastening clips to be moved onto and off the rail more easily, facilitating track installation and maintenance. One improvement comprises providing in the screwed fastening system a clip guiding device, for guiding the rail fastening clip whilst it is being driven, which has an asymmetrically-located hole for receiving the screw-threaded shank of a screwbolt. Another improvement comprises providing in the screwed fastening system a rail fastening clip and screwbolt assembly which have inter-engaging driving portions. In each case, rotation of the screwbolt in one direction brings about translational movement of the rail bearing portion of the clip away from the screwbolt, and rotation of the screwbolt in the opposite direction brings about translational movement of the rail bearing portion of the clip towards the screwbolt.

    摘要: A method of installing a releasable shade membrane to a shade system is presented. The method comprises installing a tension release system within a structural component of the shade system. The tension release system comprises a threaded member configured to, when actuated, cause a coupling mechanism to move along an axis defined by the threaded member. The method also comprises coupling a shade membrane to the coupling mechanism. The method also comprises actuating the threaded member in a first direction, such that the coupling mechanism moves along the axis in a tensioning direction. The tension release system is configured to release applied tension upon actuation of the threaded member in a second direction, causing the coupling mechanism to move along the axis in a release direction. The release direction is substantially the reverse direction of the tensioning direction.

    摘要: A two-piece locking nut assembly for securing a mantle to a head assembly of a cone crusher. The two-piece locking nut assembly includes an inner nut and an outer nut. The inner nut includes a set of axial bores that each receive a jackscrew. Once the locking nut assembly is in position on the head assembly, the series of jackscrews are tightened to exert a force on the mantle that is counteracted by forces through the inner nut and into the head to create a locking force between the locking nut assembly and the head assembly. The outer nut is turned along the inner nut to hold the locking nut assembly in place. Once the outer nut is moved into position, the jackscrews are removed such that the outer nut continues to apply the locking force between the mantle and the head through the locking nut assembly.
