摘要： A pull and release latch including a releasable lock featuring stress preventers and a limit stop. The limit stop prevents the releasable lock from cantilevering too much to the point of breaking or stressing the releasable lock. A unique design allows a male component and a female component to be easily engaged while at the same time the pulling force to release the lock gives the same motion to separate the two components in a direction perpendicular to a cantilever axis.

摘要： Latch assemblies for releasably engaging anchor members and other attachment points in vehicles are disclosed herein. A latch assembly configured in accordance with one embodiment of the disclosure includes a latch and an ejector movably coupled to a frame. In some embodiments, a biasing member urges the ejector toward a position that holds the latch in a first or open position prior to attachment to an anchor member. When the anchor member presses against the ejector, another biasing member urges the latch to pivot from the first or open position to a second position about a first pivot point, and then from the second position to a third or fully closed position about a second pivot point.

The blocking devices (17, 25) of the second carabiner (K1, K2) are operated via the coupling means (7, 7) in such a way that the second carabiner (K1, K2) is released for opening such that at all times only one of the carabiners (K1, K2) can be opened.

摘要： A quick-release hook comprising a latching hook locker, a spring, a pair of latching hooks, a pull lever and a main body. One end of the latching hook locker is shaped into a cylinder and the other end is shaped into a frustum. The latching hook locker also has a groove slot on the side of the cylinder section close to the frustum. The spring is fastened to the cylindrical end of the latching hook locker. The two latching hooks each has a U-shaped profile and is in contact with the frustum of the latching hook locker. One end of the pull lever has a protruding section for inserting into the groove slot of the latching hook locker. The main body encloses the latching hook locker, the spring, the pull lever and the two latching hooks but exposes a portion of the two latching hooks and a portion of the pull lever. The pull lever has a protruding section that links up with the main body. The other end of the pull lever remains outside the main body and is free to rotate in an arc. One end of each latching hook is enclosed and attached to the main body. The other end of the latching hook remains outside the main body and is free to rotate in an arc.

摘要： Apparatus and method for securing an anchor strap in a relatively fixed position at a location which is spaced a substantial distance from a fixed surface wherein the anchor strap has a relatively flexible intermediate portion, a relatively rigid one end portion having an anchor ring secured thereto and a closed loop at the other end portion and wherein an operating tool mounted on the end of an extensible handle is used to pass the relatively rigid one end portion over a fixed support and then pull the relatively rigid one end portion through the closed loop to secure the anchor strap on the fixed support and wherein another operating tool mounted on the end of the extensible handle is used to connect or disconnect a snap hook, having a lifeline attached thereto, to or from the anchor ring. In another embodiment, a portion of the relatively flexible intermediate portion extending from the relatively rigid one end portion is provided with stitching to add rigidity thereto. Also, a reinforcing member is secured to the inner surface of the closed loop so that when a portion of the closed loop is turned inside out it will be held in an open configuration. In another embodiment, the closed loop has a twist therein. Also, the operating tool has a releasable retaining portion for releasably retaining a portion of the relatively flexible intermediate portion for use in removing the anchor strap from the fixed support.

摘要： A quick-release device having a pair of jaws which are pivotally connected. The lower jaw includes a receiver which is in the form of an upwardly extending projection having a bore at the upper end of the projection. A locking pin is positioned to reciprocate in a plane parallel to the axis of the device from a latched position engaging the receiver to an unlatched position out of engagement with the receiver. The locking pin assembly also includes associated guide pins on either side of the locking pin to guide the reciprocating travel of the locking pin. When the release cable is pulled, the release cam moves downward causing the locking pin to retract. Axial loads are supported by the heavy axial jaws and not transferred directly to the locking pin so that minimal release force is required even under heavy loads.
