The stationary part and the rotating part are configured to cooperate with each other as a labyrinth and/or contacting seal, and the housing grease channel and the seal grease channel connect and form an extension of each other.

    摘要: An axial seal assembly includes an inner annular shield having an axial portion disposable about the shaft at a position adjacent to the bearing and a radial portion extending radially outwardly from the axial portion. An outer annular seal has an axial portion engageable with the outer member bore, a radial portion extending radially inwardly from the axial portion and on or more axial sealing lips engaged with the shield radial portion. The seal radial portion is spaced from the shield radial portion by a predetermined axial distance during use. The seal has at least one coupler section engageable with the shield radial portion or the shield axial portion when an axial spacing distance between the seal radial portion and the shield radial portion is less than the predetermined distance to retain the shield coupled with the seal when the seal assembly is separate from an outer member bore.

In the sealing device, an application amount of the grease applied to an inner peripheral surface of a leading end portion in the end face lip is set to be smaller than an application amount of the grease applied to an inner peripheral surface of a root portion in the end face lip. Accordingly, grease applied to an inner peripheral surface of an end face lip is hard to be scattered even in the case that a centrifugal force acts on the sealing device.

    摘要: A wheel bearing apparatus includes a hub shaft having a flange to which a wheel is attached and which is located on a vehicular outer side, an outer ring, a plurality of rolling elements, an annular seal member, and an annular slinger. The slinger has a circular ring portion that is in contact with the flange and a tube portion extending from the circular ring portion toward a vehicular inner side. The tube portion has pawl portions located on the vehicular inner side to engage with a recessed portion of an outer periphery of the hub shaft to inhibit the slinger from being displaced toward the vehicular inner side. The tube portion is further provided with a plurality of slits that is formed along a circumferential direction and that is open on the vehicular inner side. The slits include slits with different depths.

    摘要: An intermediate bearing for a drive shaft train of a motor vehicle has an elastic bearing body which has a bore and a supporting ring which is arranged in the bore and has a receiving space for receiving an anti-friction bearing. The receiving space defines a longitudinal axis, and two sealing washers which are spaced apart axially from one another and have in each case one central opening for receiving a drive component. The supporting ring is arranged between the two sealing washers. The sealing washers have in each case one groove which extends concentrically with respect to the longitudinal axis. The supporting ring engages into the two grooves of the sealing washers.
