摘要: A wave spring comprises fiber in a thermoplastic resin matrix, and includes one or more annular wave-springs elements, or one or more curvilinear wave-spring elements. The annular wave-spring elements, which are arrayed in a stack, are not coupled to one another. A wave spring comprising annular wave-spring elements includes an alignment feature for establishing and maintaining the alignment of the wave spring elements. In a wave spring including curvilinear wave-spring elements, a first end of each curvilinear wave-spring element is attached to a first member and a second end of each curvilinear wave-spring element is attached to a second member, the plurality of curvilinear wave-spring elements being disposed between the two members. The plurality of curvilinear wave-spring elements in the array are positioned side by side, the array extending laterally along a length of the first member and second member, and providing a low-profile wave spring.

摘要: A shock-absorbing or vibration-absorbing assembly includes a metal base and an elastic shock-absorbing or vibration-absorbing material secured to the metal base. A top surface of the metal base has at least one orifice extending from the top surface to at least one hollow chamber beneath the top surface. The hollow chamber occupies a planar area of the metal base parallel to the top surface that is larger than a planar area of the metal base that is occupied by the orifice at the top surface. The elastic material is secured to the metal base by the elastic material filling the orifice and the hollow chamber of the metal base and the elastic material filling a region above the top surface of the metal base that has a cross-sectional area parallel to the top surface of the metal base that is larger than the planar area of the metal base that is occupied by the orifice at the top surface of the metal base. The elastic material is secured to the metal base by placing the metal base against a mold having a hollow space to be filled with the elastic material. The elastic material is injected into the hollow chamber and orifice of the metal base and into the hollow space of the mold. The mold is removed from the metal base, so that the elastic material is secured to the metal base by the elastic material filling the orifice and the hollow chamber of the metal base and the elastic material filling a region above the top surface of the metal base that corresponds to the hollow space of the mold.

摘要: To provide a stabilizer bush capable of providing improved durability. The stabilizer bush is configured so that a pair of semi-cylindrical rubber elastic bodies are disposed on the outer periphery of a stabilizer bar. The stabilizer bar adheres to the inner surfaces of the elastic bodies. A first end portion and a second end portion of a reinforcing plate are disposed circumferentially inward from the circumferential end faces of the elastic bodies, and an intermediate portion of the reinforcing plate is connected to the first end portion and to the second end portion. The radial thickness of the elastic bodies measured between the first end portion and the inner surfaces and the radial thickness of the elastic bodies measured between the second end portion and the inner surfaces are smaller than the radial thickness of the elastic bodies measured between the intermediate portion and the inner surfaces.

摘要: Damping structure provides damping between a first component and a second component of an instrument cluster of a vehicle. The damping structure includes a resilient and flexible damper having a body with first and second opposing ends. The first end is closed and the second end is open to communicate with a generally cylindrical recess in the body. A holding member is coupled to and extends from the first component. The holding member includes a body having a recess therein. At least a portion of the body of the holding member is received in the recess of the damper, with the closed end of the damper covering the recess in the body of the holding member so as to trap air therein. When the first component is coupled to the second component, the closed end of the damper engages the second component so that the damper is under compression loading.

The structure is such that first and second stopper portions having a hanging plate part and a dip part are provided to a pair of opposing sides of a stopper plate of a vibration damping device, whereas a pair of side plate portions extending between the first and second stopper portions are provided to the other pair of opposing sides of the stopper plate, and openings at both sides of the first and second stopper portions are closed by the pair of side plate portions.

摘要: A vibration damping device having stopper rubbers including: a first and second mounting members; an outer bracket attached to the second mounting member; and a plurality of stopper rubbers attached to the outer bracket and providing a stopper mechanism for limiting an amount of relative displacement between the first and second mounting members by means of contact between a first mounting member side and the outer bracket via the stopper rubbers. The stopper rubbers include respective mating recesses and the mating recesses open toward a same direction. The stopper rubbers are integrally connected by at least one rubber connecting portion. The stopper rubbers are attached to the outer bracket with the rubber connecting portion being deformed so that the mating recesses are arranged so as to open toward different directions and are mated with the outer bracket.
