    摘要: A vent valve comprises a valve housing defining a vent port and a valve member mounted within the housing so as to define a fluid system chamber and an activation chamber with the housing. The valve member is biased towards a closed position, in which fluid communication between the fluid system chamber and the vent port is prevented, by fluid pressure within the fluid system chamber acting on the valve member. The valve member is biased towards an open position, in which there is fluid communication between the fluid system chamber and the vent port, by fluid pressure within the activation chamber acting on the valve member. The vent valve further comprises a pressure limiting arrangement associated with the activation chamber to limit pressure therein to a predetermined pressure value.

Beverage can be extracted from a container by inserting a needle through a container closure, such as a cork, delivering pressurized gas into the container via the needle, and dispensing beverage from the container via the needle. A pressure regulator may control a pressure of gas introduced into the container, and a lance used to pierce a pressurized gas cylinder may include a leading face arranged to reliably pierce a cylinder closure. The regulator may include valve features to reduce valve chatter or hammering and provide a more reliable pressure seal.

    摘要: A hydraulic valve for a vehicle transmission includes a housing, a valve piston, an actuating piston, and a bi-stable spring. The housing is connectable with an inlet passage and an outlet passage for the transmission. The valve piston is sealed to the housing and selectively blocks a fluid flow between the inlet passage and the outlet passage. The actuating piston is sealed to the housing and is arranged to be displaceable by a hydraulic pressure in the inlet passage. The bi-stable spring is engaged with the valve piston and the actuating piston. In some example embodiments, the bi-stable spring is axially fixed with regards to the valve piston and displaceable by the actuating piston.
