摘要: Certain embodiments of the disclosure relate to a bi-directional oil-flow adapter that is attachable to a valve-controlled port of a transformer housing in which oil is contained for cooling parts of the transformer such as a primary coil and a secondary coil. The bi-directional oil-flow adapter not only allows for an oil sample to be drawn out of the transformer housing via the valve-controlled port but also allows for the oil sample to be used (along with an additional volume of oil if so desired) for flushing the valve-controlled port in order to ensure that a subsequent oil sample is different than a current oil sample. The oil sample can be provided to a dissolved gas analyzer for detecting and analyzing one or more gases that may be present in the oil sample, the one more gases indicative of a level of contamination of the oil sample.

摘要: The present invention is directed to an improved fluid diode using topology optimization with Finite Element Method (FEM). Topology optimization as a flexible optimization method has been extended to the fluid field. For given boundary conditions and constraints, it distributes a specific amount of pores (or remove materials to get channel) in the design domain to minimize/maximize an objective function. In this design, inlet and outlet ports are aligned and inflow and outflow are in the same direction. The present invention features an intricate network of fluid channels having optimized fluid connectivity and shapes, which significantly improves the diodicity of fluidic passive valves.

摘要: A method for treating water with chlorine dioxide wherein the reactor is contained inside of the water supply line being treated and an eductor is used to draw in the chemical precursors. The method offers facilitated chlorine dioxide (ClO 2) generation and safer operation over wider ClO2 mass flow capacity, thus offering a more adaptable system for CLO2 treatments. Noise reduction and ease-of-use versus traditional eductor-based ClO2 generators are additional benefits from using this method.

The air supply plenum includes a first lateral wall and a second lateral wall which together form a conduit in which an air flow flows as the engine functions. Each lateral wall includes a step which forms a transverse recess relative to the direction of the air flow in the air supply plenum, such that an aerodynamic separation occurs in the step when the engine is operating.

The flow deflector is disposed in the airflow passage downstream of the sensor element, extends from an inner wall surface of the airflow passage, and is configured to inhibit air flow through the airflow passage in a second direction that is opposite of the first direction.
