    摘要: A heat pump system is disclosed that utilizes a primary compressor, a booster compressor, and a controlled heat exchanger heat exchanger fluidly connected between the boost compressor output and the primary compressor input. The controlled heat exchanger functions to reduce the temperature of the refrigerant entering the primary compressor, thereby allowing the booster compressor to operate for longer periods without overheating the primary compressor. Increasing compressor run times improves both the heat pump efficiency and extends the compressor lifespan. The heat energy may be diverted away from the primary compressor to a hydronics system for heating an indoor space. Additionally, heat energy may be withdrawn from the hydronics system to defrost the outdoor coil of the heat pump system. The periods of compressor inactivity may also be extended by withdrawing heat energy stored in a hydronics tank.

    摘要: An airconditioner wherein cooling is performed by forming a refrigerant circulation passage which condenses a refrigerant delivered from a compressor by means of an outdoor heat exchanger and which evaporates it by means of an indoor heat exchanger, while warming is performed while condensing the refrigerant by means of the indoor heat exchanger by furnishing the refrigerant circulation passage with a heating heat exchanger which heats the refrigerant through a heat medium higher in temperature than the open air and which is located in parallel with the outdoor heat exchanger and between the indoor heat exchanger and the suction side of the compressor; characterized by comprising a circuit which bypasses the higher pressure side and lower pressure side of the compressor through a solenoid valve, and a controller which normally closes the bypass circuit during the cooling and normally opens the bypass circuit during the warming and which opens the bypass circuit for a predetermined period of time at the starting of the cooling.

    摘要: An air conditioning apparatus includes a refrigeration cycle, a magnetic field generator, a detector and a control part. The refrigeration cycle has a compression element, a refrigerant tube in thermal contact with a refrigerant flowing through the refrigerant tube and/or a heat-generating member in thermal contact with a refrigerant flowing through the refrigerant tube. The magnetic field generator generates a magnetic field to inductively heat the heat-generating member. The detector detects either temperature or temperature change or pressure or pressure change in refrigerant flowing through a predetermined portion of the refrigeration cycle. The control part permits magnetic field generation in a first compression element state and a higher output second compression element state, and when a magnetic-field-generating-permission condition is satisfied. The condition is either that a value detected by the detector change or that a change be detected in the value detected by the detector.
