摘要: A method for controlling a vapour compression system (1) is disclosed. Malfunctioning of a gas bypass valve (8) is registered. An actual opening degree of the gas bypass valve (8) is derived, and a target opening degree of the gas bypass valve (8) is derived, based on one or more control parameters of the vapour compression system (1). The actual opening degree is compared to the target opening degree, and the vapour compression system (1) is controlled based on the comparison, and in order to match a mass flow of gaseous refrigerant through the gas bypass valve (8) to the actual opening degree of the gas bypass valve (8).

摘要: An air conditioning system can be toggled between a heating mode, in which heat is withdrawn from a source (e.g., a geothermal source) and deposited into a conditioned space (e.g., a building), and a cooling mode, in which heat is withdrawn from the conditioned space and deposited into the source. The air conditioning system uses a combination of efficiency-enhancing technologies, including injection of superheated vapor into the system's compressor from an economizer circuit, adjustable compressor speed, the use of one or coaxial heat exchangers and the use of electronic expansion valves that are continuously adjustable from a fully closed to various open positions. A controller may be used to control the system for optimal performance in both the heating and cooling modes, such as by disabling the economizer circuit and vapor injection when the system is in the cooling mode.

摘要: A method for controlling a vapour compression system (1) including a compressor unit (2) including at least two compressors (3, 12), a heat rejecting heat exchanger (4), a receiver (6), an expansion device (7) and an evaporator (8) arranged in a refrigerant path is disclosed. At least one of the compressors is a main compressor (3) being fluidly connected to an outlet of the evaporator (8) and at least one of the compressors is a receiver compressor (12) being fluidly connected to a gaseous outlet (10) of the receiver (6). A flow of vapour entering the receiver (6), such as a mass flow of vapour entering the receiver (6) is estimated and compared to a first threshold value. In the case that the estimated flow is above the first threshold value, a pressure prevailing inside the receiver (6) is controlled by operating the receiver compressor (12).

摘要: In a refrigeration system comprising a refrigerant circuit, a heat exchanger, an expansion element which, in the active state, cools the entire mass flow of the refrigerant by expansion and thereby produces a main mass flow consisting of liquid refrigerant and an auxiliary mass flow consisting of gaseous refrigerant which enter an intermediate pressure accumulator, at least one normal refrigerating stage which expands a normal refrigerating mass flow in at least one normal refrigerating expansion unit to a low pressure and thereby makes refrigerating capacity available for normal refrigerating purposes, a refrigerant compressor unit which compresses the normal refrigerating mass flow from low pressure to high pressure, and a parallel compressor which, in a parallel compression mode of operation of the refrigerant circuit, sucks in refrigerant from the intermediate pressure accumulator and compresses it to high pressure, it is proposed that, in order to increase the efficiency, the power of the parallel compressor be controlled by a control system, that the control system determine at least one reference variable representing a load state of the refrigerant circuit, that the control system determine a set intermediate pressure value on the basis of the at least one reference variable at least in a parallel compression mode of operation, and that the control system regulate the intermediate pressure in accordance with the set intermediate pressure value at least in the parallel compression mode of operation.

The second injection module injects a portion of refrigerant flowing from the indoor heat exchanger to the outdoor heat exchanger to the compressor in the heating operation and injects refrigerant flowing from the outdoor heat exchanger to the indoor heat exchanger to the compressor in the cooling operation.

The liquid injection line is coupled to the flash tank and to the second compressor and sends a liquid refrigerant from the flash tank to mix with the refrigerant from the first compressor before the refrigerant from the first compressor is received by the second compressor.

摘要: A system includes a temperature sensor, a pressure sensor, and a controller. The temperature sensor measures a temperature of a refrigerant at a compressor. The compressor receives the refrigerant from a second compressor. The pressure sensor measures a pressure of the refrigerant at the compressor. The controller receives one or more of the measured temperature and the measured pressure and determines that one or more of the measured temperature and the measured pressure exceed a threshold. In response to that determination, the controller actuates a pulse valve coupled to a liquid injection line. The pulse valve controls the flow of a liquid refrigerant from a flash tank through the liquid injection line to mix with the refrigerant at the compressor.

The economizer is configured to inject a working fluid into the compression chamber at an injection position. The injection position is changeable according to a working condition of the compressor.
