摘要: Apparatus for enhancing the performance of a heat pump which includes first and second auxiliary coils that are operatively connected to the heat pump. Each auxiliary coil has a radiant quartz heating element disposed internally thereof and a fan is disposed in closely adjacent spaced relation to the second auxiliary coil and exteriorly thereof. A pair of thermostats selectively actuate the radiant quartz heating elements and the fan at preselected environmental ambient temperatures to achieve increased heat pump efficiency.

摘要: An air conditioning system includes a refrigerant circuit (20) in which a compressor (21), an indoor radiant panel (23), a first expansion valve (24), a room air heat exchanger (25), a second expansion valve (26) and an outdoor air heat exchanger (27) are connected in this order and which operates in a refrigeration cycle by reversibly circulating refrigerant therethrough. During a defrosting operation, the first expansion valve (24) is controlled to reduce the refrigerant pressure so that in a cooling cycle the refrigerant releases heat in the outdoor air heat exchanger (27) and the room air heat exchanger (25) and evaporates in the indoor radiant panel (23). Thus, the air conditioning system concurrently provides the defrosting of the outdoor air heat exchanger (27) and the room heating of the room air heat exchanger (25).

摘要: A first cycle, in which a first medium is circulated, employs a compressor, a first heat exchanger structured with an air heat exchanger, a second heat exchanger, and a third heat exchanger. A second cycle, in which a second medium is circulated and heat is exchanged with the first medium through the second heat exchanger, employs indoor units, each having a fan. A third cycle, in which the second medium is circulated and heat is exchanged with the first medium through the third heat exchanger, shares the indoor units with the second cycle. Flow path switching valves switch flow paths between the second cycle and third cycle. Before the first heat exchanger is defrosted, a halted indoor unit is filled with the second medium in the third cycle with its fan being halted. The third heat exchanger functions as an evaporator during a defrosting operation.

摘要: A heat-pump-type vehicular air-conditioning system, wherein a cooling refrigerant circuit constituting a base is provided with a first circuit for connecting an onboard condenser provided on the downstream side of an onboard evaporator inside an HVAC unit, the first circuit having a second decompression unit between the outlet side of a receiver and one end side of a vehicle-mounted external heat exchanger; and a second circuit having a solenoid valve opened during heating between the other end side of the vehicle-mounted external heat exchanger and the intake circuit of an electric compressor; the vehicular air-conditioning system being provided with a heating refrigerant circuit in which the electric compressor, a switching unit, the onboard condenser, the receiver, the first circuit provided with the second decompression unit, the vehicle-mounted external heat exchanger, and the second circuit provided with the solenoid valve are connected in the stated order.
