摘要: An air conditioning and heat pump tower includes a main casing, a plurality of connecting pipes, a compressor, a front heat exchanger, a rear heat exchanger, a fan unit, and an energy efficient arrangement. The energy efficient arrangement includes a first pre-heating heat exchanger supported in a front compartment of the main casing, and positioned between an outdoor air intake opening and an outdoor heat exchanging portion of the front heat exchanger. The air conditioning and heat pump tower may be operated between an air conditioning mode for absorbing heat from the indoor space, and a heat pump mode for producing heat to the indoor space. A predetermined amount of ambient air may be drawn through the outdoor air intake opening and may be pre-heated by the energy efficient arrangement before delivering to the indoor space.

摘要: A refrigerating apparatus including three compressors (2A, 2B, 2C) and application side heat exchangers (41) (45, 51) for two channels is formed so that a first compressor (2A) is used only for the application side heat exchangers (45, 51) in a first channel of a circuit, a third compressor (2C) is used only for the application side heat exchanger (41) in a second channel of the circuit, and a second compressor (2B) is used in a switchable manner between the application side heat exchangers (45, 51) in the first channel of the circuit and the application side heat exchanger (41) in the second channel of the circuit. Thus, not only the pipe arrangement at suction side is simplified, but also operation control is streamlined.

摘要: In a refrigerating apparatus (1) having application-side heat exchangers (41, 45, 51) for a plurality of systems for air-conditioning, for cold-storage/freezing and the like and a four-way switch valve (3C) and a plurality of check valves (7) on suction sides of compression mechanisms (2D, 2E) and formed from three compressors (2A, 2B, 2C) to allow the operation states to be switched, the number of compressors (2A, 2B, 2C) used at air-conditioning side and cold-storage/freezing side is limited to two at maximum, thereby achieving a simple circuit configuration in which the number of the check valves (7) to be provided in the suction sides of the compression mechanisms (2D, 2E) is reduced to one or two, suppressing the occurrence of chattering noise in check valves (7) and, also, preventing an ability from reducing due to a suction-side pressure loss.

摘要: Apparatus for enhancing the performance of a heat pump which includes first and second auxiliary coils that are operatively connected to the heat pump. Each auxiliary coil has a radiant quartz heating element disposed internally thereof and a fan is disposed in closely adjacent spaced relation to the second auxiliary coil and exteriorly thereof. A pair of thermostats selectively actuate the radiant quartz heating elements and the fan at preselected environmental ambient temperatures to achieve increased heat pump efficiency.

In a dehumidifying and heating operation, refrigerant in the interior heat exchanger absorbs heat from air so that the air is cooled and dehumidified, and the dehumidified and cooled air can be further heated in the heater core by indirectly using the heating source from the high-temperature refrigerant.

In a dehumidifying and heating operation, refrigerant in the interior heat exchanger absorbs heat from air so that the air is cooled and dehumidified, and the heater heats air having been dehumidified and cooled by using the heating source, so that low-humidity and high-temperature air is supplied into the compartment. The heater can be disposed to indirectly heat air by heating a fluid flowing through a heater core for heating air, or to directly heat air to be blown into the compartment.

摘要: In a vehicle air conditioner with a heat pump refrigerant cycle, an interior heat exchanger of the refrigerant cycle is disposed in an air conditioning case to heat air in a heating operation and to cool air in a cooling operation. Further, a cooling heat exchanger for cooling air by evaporating the refrigerant is disposed so that a part of refrigerant circulating in the refrigerant cycle flows into the cooling heat exchanger at least in the heating operation. In addition, a decompression unit for decompressing refrigerant flowing to the cooling heat exchanger is disposed, and the decompression unit is opened even in the cooling operation. Accordingly, dehumidifying capacity of the air conditioner can be improved while the refrigerant cycle has a simple structure.

摘要: A heat pump type cooling/heating air conditioner which can be operated using a new substitute refrigerant gas HFC (hydrofluorocarbon) in combination with a mineral lubricating oil. This air conditioner includes a compressor, a condenser and an evaporator. The compressor and the condenser are connected together by a gas pipe having a four-way valve. The condenser is provided at its outlet with capillary tubes connected to an additional condenser by a gas pipe. The additional condenser is connected to capillary tubes of the evaporator by a gas pipe. The gas outlet of the evaporator and the compressor are connected together by a gas pipe in which is disposed the four-way valve. Thus, cooling and heating operations can be changed over.

摘要: An HVAC system for a building of the type that has an interior zone and a perimeter zone includes an economizer type air conditioning unit for the interior zone and a multi-source heat pump for the perimeter zone. The interior zone economizer type air-conditioning unit has a waste heat recovery coil disposed at the exhaust air dampers and connected in a closed liquid circulating loop for recovering heat from the exhausted air. The multi-source heat pump functions as an air-to-air heat pump during a cooling mode of operation during which heat is withdrawn from the air to be conditioned by standard indoor evaporator coils, said heat being rejected to the outside air by a standard outdoor condenser coil. The heat pump operates as liquid-to-air heat pump during the heating mode of operation during which heat is extracted by a chiller from the closed liquid circulating loop and is discharged to the conditioned air through the indoor coils which act as condensers during the heating mode of operation. The closed liquid circulating loop interconnects the heat pump chiller, the waste heat recovery coil and a heat storage means and may also be connected to a supplemental heat source and a solar heat collector. It is also contemplated that one or more remote water source heat pumps may be connected into the closed liquid circulating loop for heating and cooling remotely located spaces.

摘要: The present invention relates to a split type cold and warm air conditioner for solving problems of insufficient performances and inconvenience in use. The split type cold and warm air conditioner includes an air conditioning system having an outdoor unit and an indoor unit. The outdoor unit includes a first heat exchanger, a second heat exchanger, a first fan, a compressor, an accumulator and a capillary tube. The indoor unit includes a third heat exchanger, a fourth heat exchanger and a second fan. A first refrigerant circulation loop and a second refrigerant circulation loop can be constituted by using pipelines and solenoid valves to connect the above-mentioned components. The invention provides both high performances for cold and warm air functions.
