摘要： Methods, apparatus, and systems for load control for cooling systems are provided. Coolant flows through a plurality of cooling units in a cooling system. The coolant flow is halted for each cooling unit that is undergoing a defrost cycle. Each cooling unit is configured to start a first defrost cycle at a random time within a predetermined time range after the cooling unit is started or powered on. After the first random start defrost cycle, a regular periodic defrost cycle may be maintained. Thus, the cooling units may be powered on simultaneously while still providing desynchronized defrost cycles, enabling the cooling system to maintain adequate coolant flow and heat load to avoid deleterious stop and restart cycles.

A water heater is mounted on an exterior surface of the cabinet about the hollow hinge and configured to heat water supplied from the refrigerator. A hot water dispenser is positioned on the door that is configured to dispense hot water supplied from the water heater into a receiver vessel, and a hot water conduit is guided through the hollow hinge and extending from the water heater to the hot water dispenser to supply the hot water from the heater to the dispenser. A method of dispensing hot water is also provided. The method utilizes at least two distinct, user-initiated steps to permit the dispensing of hot water.

摘要： An ice chest includes a main body and a hinged lid. The hinged lid is capable of being positioned over the main body and sealing the ice chest. The main body also includes a first internal compartment, second internal compartment and third internal compartment. The first and second internal compartments are separated from one another by a barrier that is capable of thermal transfer, but prohibits liquid transfers. The third internal compartment is positioned directly below the first and second internal compartments and positioned above the bottom of the main body. The third internal compartment is also capable of retaining liquid. The main body of the ice chest further includes a porous barrier capable of filtering liquid that is positioned between the first and third internal compartments. The main body of the ice chest also has a filtered spout capable of providing a second filtering mechanism and release mechanism for liquid being retained in the third internal compartment.

摘要： A system and method that portably stores, refrigerates, and dispenses a viscous, semi-solid food product. Cannoli cream is held in an open-top hopper with a lower outlet tube that is removably received inside an insulated and cooled portion of the dispenser housing through a door with an opening for the lower outlet tube. A horizontal dispensing nozzle is attached to the lower outlet tube from outside the door. The hopper is positioned under a piston assembly that moves a piston plate through the top of the hopper with a screw-jack. The piston assembly functions to pump cannoli cream from the hopper through the dispenser nozzle.
