    摘要： A method and apparatus are disclosed for continuously drying, preferably with agglomeration and/or coating and sizing, and separating a solid product from a liquid feed material, especially bauxite slurry which passes through a very sticky phase during drying, without significant encrustation of the equipment used. The method comprises: spraying a liquid bearing solid material upwardly into a drying zone, feeding a drying gas into the drying zone from below The spraying liquid in substantially parallel flow, removing the mixture of the drying gas and entrained dried particles from the drying zone, separating the entrained dried particles from their mixture with the drying gas, returning the separated dried particles to the drying zone, and collecting the dried particles, characterized by arranging for the formation of a slower moving boundary layer within the feeding of the drying gas, through which boundary layer dried particles are allowed lo fall under gravity to be collected, and by collecting the dried particles continuously from below the spraying liquid.

    摘要： A fluidized crusher/drier for use in a fluidized crushing/drying system includes: a generally tower-shaped housing; a product discharge outlet provided in the ceiling of the housing; a material supply inlet provided in a lower portion of a housing wall for supplying industrial waste therethrough; a chute surface defining part of the housing wall extending downward from the material supply inlet to the bottom of the housing; at least one hot blast inlet provided in a lower portion of the housing wall for supplying hot blast; an arcuate bottom surface having an arcuate cross section and defining the bottom of the housing; and a single crusher vane wheel provided near the arcuate bottom surface of the housing for rotation along the arcuate bottom surface while maintaining a slight distance from it.

    摘要： An upright first conduit has an upper open end, and hot gas with entrained material which is to be dried is passed through the conduit so that it issues from the upper open end into an upwardly closed chamber. A second conduit surrounds the first conduit with clearance and has an upper open end also communicating with the said chamber and located in the region of the level of the open end of the first conduit. A third conduit surrounds the second conduit with clearance and its wall communicates with the wall of the chamber and it serves as the outlet for the hot gases. An arrangement is provided for raising and lowering the level of the upper open end of the second conduit with reference to that of the upper open end of the first conduit to thereby influence the flow conditions in the chamber from the first conduit to the third conduit.
