    摘要: An explosive booster cap containing a confined detonable charge, said confinement providing a high degree of water protection for said detonable charge, but which confinement will, when the booster cap is subjected to a fire or excessive heat, be disrupted to allow for outgassing and burning of the detonable charge without explosion. Confinement of the detonable charge is provided by a thermoplastic plug inserted into the open end of the booster cap. The physical properties of the thermoplastic plug permit the plug to deform when heated to a temperature between the decomposition and initiation temperatures of the explosive. The booster cap is slipped over the detonable end of the blasting cap, the resultant combination providing a substantially enhanced explosive output.

    摘要: Igniter base for a pyrotechnic initiator has a glass base together with fused-in contact pins that function as a pole carrier and thus fixes the contact pins in secure correlation to one another. The end side of the glass base and the contact pins form a level plane, so that an ignition bridge resting flush on the glass base can be attached to the poles. The contact pins project beyond the glass base on the opposite side and a part of the glass base and a part of the contact pins projecting beyond the glass base are equipped with a plastic jacketing.

The support body and the access openings are configured as a shaped part. The feed-through element further includes a solder gap between the metal rod and the wall of the second access opening, where the solder gap has a small width.

    摘要: An igniter assembly having excellent moisture proof is provided. A cylindrical protruding portion 24 and a cylindrical stepped portion 25 are arranged in the metal collar 20. Shrinkage of a resin 30 after injection-molding produces a gap in an interface 50 but, to the contrary, in an interface 51, it presses the cylindrical stepped portion 25 and does not produce a gap. Thereby, since production of a continuous gap is prevented, entry of moisture is prevented.
