    摘要: A signaling apparatus paces a free pour count and choreographs a movement to stop pouring. The apparatus emits a first signal after an approximately 200-ms time interval and a series of subsequent signals every approximately 400-ms thereafter. The first time interval approximates a first time, measured from a moment the sensor detects the start of the pour, needed to dispense a first unit of beverage through the pour spout, minus a second time needed to react to a signal and stop the pour. The 400-ms time interval approximates the time required to dispense each subsequent unit of beverage through the pour spout. In one embodiment, the signaling apparatus emits sequential pulses according to the pattern Y-Y-Y-Y-G-Y-Y-R, wherein Y is yellow, G is green, and R is red, wherein each pulse represents a quarter-ounce increment, the green pulse represents a standard pour, and the red pulse represents a full pour.

    摘要: An activity and volume sensing beverage container cap system for a beverage container including a cap that couples with the beverage container, a processor, a timer and at least one activity level sensor, such as an inclinometer, coupled with the processor. The activity level sensor detects container orientation. When the container is tilted, the timer measures an amount of time in an orientation. Based on the current and previous orientation and the amount of time the container is in different orientations, the processor determines an amount of time of activity of the user, and a level of activity of the user, such as number of steps or moves per time. The inclinometer is also sued to determine the amount of volume dispensed from the container when tilted over a threshold indicative of drinking. Thus one inclinometer may be utilized as both to determine activity level and volume of fluid dispensed.

    摘要: A counter device attachment for a depressible spray dispenser for products such as medicine. The dispenser comprises a clip to fit about the side wall of the dispenser's casing, a foot-leg positioned beneath the dispenser and connected to the clip, and a counter actuated by the shaft which moves within a shaft housing, wherein a button on the counter is incremented each time the tank is depressed. The length of the vertical shaft is adjustable by controlling the rotation of the top end of the shaft which is mateably threaded to the bottom end of the shaft. The bottom end of the shaft can be threaded within the top end of the shaft or vice-versa. The clip can alternatively be curved or have a dimpled surface which may contact another dimple through a hole in the side of the dispenser. A second embodiment features the counter located beneath the dispenser which is also incremented each time the tank is depressed.

    摘要: Positive displacement pumps, each having multiple pistons reciprocated by a swash plate, are connected to corresponding liquid reservoirs and are individually actuated to dispense a selected liquid type and pour size volume through a hand held gun. A digital control circuit receives feedback from an emitter, detector, chopper wheel combination associated with each pump to monitor the amount of liquid dispensed. The control circuit also monitors the actuation of switches on each dispensing gun and causes the desired pour size volume of the selected liquid to be dispensed. Pour size volume and pricing information may be programmed through a keyboard coupled to the control circuit and accounting information may be displayed or printed on command.
