    Abstract: An automated volumetric measurement and verification system capable of measuring and verifying volumetric graduations on a container and methods of measuring and verifying volumetric graduations on a container using the disclosed volumetric measurement and verification system are disclosed herein. The volumetric measurement and verification system comprises a graduated container capable of containing a liquid, a camera, and one or more z-axis stages for positioning the camera. In embodiments of the disclosed system that are used to verify volumetric graduations, the system may further comprise a liquid dispenser and a balance, and the one or more z-axis stages may further position the liquid dispenser.

    Abstract: Concepts and technologies are disclosed herein for a spatial telemeter alert reconnaissance system (“STARS”). According to one aspect disclosed herein, the STARS can receive, from a spatial mapping and monitoring (“SMM”) device, an initial space map for a space in which the SMM device is deployed. The initial space map can include a volume capacity of the space. The STARS can receive, from a user device, at least one space parameter to be utilized for the space in which the SMM device is deployed. The STARS device can update the SMM device in accordance with the space parameter. In some embodiments, the at least one space parameter can include a mapping frequency. The mapping frequency can instruct the SMM device to perform spatial mapping of the space at a specified time interval.

    Abstract: A hauling machine is disclosed. The hauling machine may include a dump body and an inertial measurement unit (IMU) disposed proximate to the dump body. The IMU may be configured to measure an impact of a payload material on the dump body during a first load cycle, and generate impact data based on the impact of the payload material. The hauling machine may also include a controller in operative communication with the IMU. The controller may be configured to: receive the impact data from the IMU, estimate a center of gravity, a net load, and an amplitude of the impact of the payload material based on the impact data, and determine a desired dumping point of the payload material into the dump body for a second load cycle based on the center of gravity, the net load, and the amplitude of the impact.
